Gaochun Museum is located in the south of Baota Cultural Park, Gaochun District, Nanjing, with a total construction area of 9,697 square meters and three floors. Gray, blue and brown tones and carved railings render a solemn and elegant atmosphere, and the overall shape echoes the library on the side. The whole museum is divided into six parts: exhibition, audience service and collection preservation, of which the exhibition area is more than 2,000 square meters, including three exhibition halls: basic exhibition hall, Soochow Hall and urban and rural planning exhibition hall.

The basic exhibition of the museum is based on the theme of "green water and green mountains, high winds and pure people". The exhibition shows the long history, unique cultural features and diverse humanistic ecological landscape of Gaochun in a comprehensive and concentrated way with thick and concise pen and ink, which is the essence of Gaochun's historical culture and humanistic ecology.

The exhibition "Gaochun in Wu Dong Period" focuses on the important military and agricultural events of Wu in Gaochun during the Three Kingdoms period, as well as important historical figures who worked or lived in Gaochun.
