Shangluo College was formerly a branch of Shaanxi Normal University, and later became an independent college Shangluo Normal College. In 2005, it was upgraded to two colleges and renamed Shangluo College.

The best building in Shangluo College is the library. The library consists of seven floors, the first and second floors are study rooms, which are spacious and bright, the third floor is literature, the fourth floor is science and engineering, the fifth floor is readers' club, and the sixth floor is historical foreign languages. The collection of books is quite rich. From the library, you can see the big playground newly built by Shangluo College!

Teachers in Shangluo College are the same as undergraduates.

There are good and bad dormitories, such as Building No.3, with six people, but the environment is very poor. The dormitory is very small. Except for three rack beds, it is an old table, a small cupboard for everyone to put things, and then a bookshelf. If six people wash their faces together in the dormitory in the morning, it will be crowded.

But there are also good dormitories, such as building 6, which was built later. The dormitory has a balcony. The dormitory is relatively large, with eight people, two new tables and a fan.

However, because there is heating in the south and north of Shaanxi, the climate has changed greatly in the past two years, the winter is very cold, and there has been a fire in the school. Students are not allowed to use high-power electrical appliances in the dormitory, otherwise they will trip.

There are only two periods of hot water supply in the school every day, from 7 am to 8: 30 am and from 5 pm to 7: 30 pm!
