During the Qin Dynasty, Shang Jun was an important frontier military place to resist the Huns, so Fu Su, the first Qin Emperor, was sent to supervise the troops here and set up a residence in Shushu Mountain. Fu Su was buried here after committing suicide. During the War of Liberation, Suide garrison headquarters was located in Shushu Mountain and became a strategic center for commanding operations. There are Fu Shu's Tomb, Qin Shihuang's Mausoleum, Fu Su Hall, Han Stone Relief Museum and the former site of Suide garrison headquarters. At the foot of the mountain are the former residence of Li Zizhou and the former site of Suide prefectural committee.
