Meet Suzhou
Meet a city, cross the city's traffic, walk through several streets of the city, take several city buses, have meals in several small shops in the city, swim through several parks in the city, see all the city's spring, summer, autumn and winter, and then leave. This is how I know Suzhou, under the blue sky and white clouds, in the afterglow of the sunset by the lake, in the classical gardens in the south of the Yangtze River, between the small bridges and flowing water, and in front of the magnificent modern buildings.

Among the different scenic spots in Suzhou, I prefer Dushu Lake, especially the sunset in Dushu Lake. Dushu Library is only one road from our school, and it is built next to Dushu Lake, so I often go there to read books, walk to the intersection of Renai Road and Xinghu Street, watch the traffic coming and going at the intersection, wait for the traffic lights and cross the zebra crossing. When there are many cars, I often have to walk to the middle of the road, wait for the next green light, then cross the other half of the road and go back and forth between the school cafeteria and the library. After reading in the library, I will go for a walk by Dushu Lake. At dusk, the sun sets a little from the lake, changing from white to gold and then to red sunset, setting off the lake from sparkling to golden, and finally being dyed red. Except when the weather is bad, Dushu Lake takes wedding photos all year round. Girls in white wedding dresses dance with veils or shawls, or take photos with lovers. Photographers try to freeze their moving moments with their lenses. Walking along the path by the lake, the sun shone obliquely through the cracks in the trees, and some people were recording the beautiful scenery they met with their cameras or mobile phones. Go to the place where there are benches and steps by the lake and sit on the bench. Here, you can see the whole lake and tall buildings in the distance. When there is wind, you will hear the sound of the lake beating on the steps. Go on, through a small forest, and you will arrive at Dushu Lake Church, a distinctive Gothic building. At night, the lights are flashing, which is more spectacular. There are more people taking wedding photos here, with the church as the background, as if they had entered a fairy tale: the prince and princess came to their castle. If you are in a bad mood, go for a walk by Dushu Lake. The wide lake, beautiful sunset, gentle breeze and happy lovers, accompanied by church bells, will make you forget your troubles and believe that life is full of hope and beauty.

Besides Dushu Lake, Jinji Lake, which is connected with it, is also a place worth visiting. In addition to the natural landscape, Jinji Lake is surrounded by many modern commercial centers and landmark buildings in Suzhou. Times Square, Oriental Gate and Eslite Bookstore are the new city labels of Suzhou. I have never been to Times Square in Rong Yuan. The Oriental Gate is commonly known as the Autumn Pants Gate, so it is named because the building looks like autumn pants. In the evening, the Jinji Lake music fountain opposite the Oriental Gate is grand. No matter when it is open, it is surrounded by water. Various types of water and colorful lights, coupled with various styles of background music, bring unforgettable visual and auditory experiences. I have been to Suzhou Eslite Bookstore once. This is the fusion of business and culture. Commodities with clearly marked prices make people feel shy and have a scholarly literary atmosphere, which makes people linger. "There is heaven above and Suzhou and Hangzhou below." Suzhou not only has rare beautiful scenery and an ancient city with profound cultural heritage, but also has these brand-new prosperous urban features.

Of course, the temperament of Suzhou is still reflected in the small bridges and flowing water, the ancient city with white walls and tiles, and the classical gardens with unique architectural style. The most visited places are Pingjiang Road, Guanqian Street, Humble Administrator's Garden, Lion Grove and Suzhou Museum, all of which are representatives of classical gardens. Take bus 178 from Wen Hui Talent Apartment in Dushu Lake Higher Education Zone. Along the way, there were more and more people in the car and they were crowded around. About an hour later, they got off at Guanqian Street or Suzhou Museum Station, crossed an alley and arrived at Pingjiang Road. On the street paved with bluestone, one side is next to a small river, and the boatman on the river is leading the boat with tourists. Every other distance, there is a crescent-shaped bridge across, connecting Pingjiang Road and an unknown alley. On the other side are some shops, specialty snack bars, selling Su-style cakes, sugar people, roast pig's trotters and roast duck sausages, old yogurt and octopus balls. There are souvenir shops, silk shops and porcelain shops. In addition, there are two bookstores in Tmall City. Once I went there, I met a black cat in one of the bookstores. It's fat and bright. I think it's like the cat essence in Miyazaki Hayao's cartoons. Later, I went twice and never saw a big black cat again. Strolling along Pingjiang Road, I feel as if I have returned to a certain era in the past, shuttling between small bridges, flowing water, houses in the south of the Yangtze River and antique shops, and even the bustling crowd seems to be slowing down. Similar to Pingjiang Road, Shantang Street belongs to the ancient city of Suzhou, but its history and culture are not as well preserved as Pingjiang Road, and most scenic spots have been restored in recent years. The night view of Shantang Street is beautiful, suitable for night tour.

Humble Administrator's Garden is one of the scenic spots that most people must visit when they go to Suzhou. Many ancient gardens were built after the frustrated literati resigned and retired. They are built in downtown areas, and there are mountains, rivers, flowers, trees and pavilions in the gardens. Humble Administrator's Garden was built by Wang, a retired official in Ming Dynasty. Later, the ownership changed hands several times, and the garden was abandoned and rebuilt many times. Until now, it has become a world cultural heritage and a famous tourist attraction. Come out from the gate of Humble Administrator's Garden, walk through one corridor after another, and walk into one house after another. I feel that all the houses, corridors and pavilions here are connected, winding and winding. I am worried that there is no road ahead, but I can always find an arch or corridor leading to the other side in a hidden corner. Looking out from any window of the house or porch, it is almost a perfect landscape painting. There are rockeries, pools, stones, flowers and trees in the yard. Finally, I went to visit the bonsai garden of Humble Administrator's Garden, where there are all kinds of strange and eye-catching bonsai. Before going to a place, you'd better know more about its history and culture, such as Humble Administrator's Garden, how it was built, what kind of historical ups and downs it experienced later, and what kind of cultural connotation its architecture has, so that you may find more songs about everything there. I didn't know much about it before I went to Humble Administrator's Garden, so I can only stay in sensory appreciation. Lion Forest is located next to Humble Administrator's Garden, which is also an ancient garden. Although the lion forest area is relatively small, it is rugged and rugged, which is even more interesting. My impression of the lion forest stays on a rockery, which is made up of many stones. Although the mountain is small, there are all kinds of trees, caves, streams and waterfalls, and in the process of climbing the mountain, I can turn from one hill to another, go through a cave and get to the foot of another hill or halfway up the mountain. It is amazing that the builders can condense so many landscapes in this small rockery. Following the Lion Forest is Suzhou Museum, as the representative work of I.M. Pei, which combines modern geometric modeling with traditional architectural elements in the south of the Yangtze River and becomes a major feature of the museum. Many people come here just to see its beauty. Suzhou Museum is open to the public free of charge. During holidays, tourists who go there often line up in long queues.

For Suzhou, in addition to enjoying its scenic spots and historical sites, there are countless historical cultures worth learning. Tiger Hill is such a place with historical and cultural connotations. Su Shi's sentence "It's a pity that Suzhou doesn't visit Tiger Hill" has become a billboard for Tiger Hill Scenic Area. As the "first scene in Wuzhong", Tiger Hill is a collection of historical relics. Suzhou was the birthplace of Wu in the Spring and Autumn Period. Today's Suzhou was created because of the city built by He Lv and Wu Zixu. Today, you can still find the footprints left by Wu in Suzhou. Xumen, Nagato, Ganjiang Road and Mo Xie Road are all named after the culture and legends of Wu. Walking into the Tiger Hill Scenic Area, climbing along the rocky road and passing through the broken beam hall, it was named after the fracture of the main beam of the mountain gate. Further on, there is a big stone that seems to be split in the middle by the roadside. It is said that Wu Wangjian tried to open it. Further up, there is a place called Cold Spring, whose name comes from the legend about a young monk named Cold Cold, and many legendary relics, such as the tomb of the true mother. Before arriving at Tiger Hill Jianchi, there was a memorial archway with the words "Don't have a cave" written on it, and the words "Tiger Hill Jianchi" were engraved on the stone wall next to the memorial archway. You can see the whole sword pool from the arch, which is not very big, but the pool wall is steep and the water is deep. According to legend, the tomb of He Lv, the king of Wu, is under the sword pool, and there are original works left by calligraphers in past dynasties on the stone wall. Further up is Tiger Hill at the top of Tiger Hill, which was built in the Song Dynasty and is called the Leaning Tower of Pisa in China. In addition to these monuments, Tiger Hill has beautiful scenery, and the ancient stone steps are covered with moss. Towering trees, covering the sky and the sun, antique; Mountain stream, flowing slowly. Perhaps it is precisely because it is a treasure trove of geomantic omen that ancient emperors were buried there and scholars and celebrities of all ages left footprints there.

Besides these places, there are many places worth exploring in Suzhou, such as Hanshan Temple outside Gusu, Shangfangshan National Forest Park, Mudu Ancient Town, Yongzhi Ancient Town and so on. What impressed me most about Suzhou was taking Express 2, from school to dormitory. Is to go for a walk behind the school after class in the afternoon, and walk from the bridge to the other side of the river to bask in the sun; Take a group photo in front of the flowers and plants in front of the school gate; It was from our school that people next to us saw their peacocks, swans and flocks of white pigeons; It is autumn to walk on the sidewalk covered with golden ginkgo orchards in Linquan Street …
