According to the personal collection, Qionglai prepared to set up Qionglai County Sichuan Opera Troupe in 1950, and built a special house for Qionglai Sichuan Opera Troupe. Qionglai County Sichuan Opera Troupe was established and developed, and it rehearsed modern dramas and newly-edited historical dramas such as Marriage of Little Black, White-haired Girl, Red Rhododendron, Forty Days in Beijing and Meeting the Prime Minister, which were well received by the audience.
