What is heptafluoropropane?
Heptafluoropropane (HFC-227ea/FM200) is a clean gas fire extinguishing agent, which has both chemical and physical fire extinguishing functions. Colorless, tasteless, low toxicity, non-conductive, non-polluting protected objects.

Will not damage property and precision facilities; Can reliably extinguish class B and C fires and electrical fires with low extinguishing concentration; Small storage space, high critical temperature and low critical pressure.

Can be liquefied and stored at normal temperature; After release, it contains no particulate matter or oily residue, and has no destructive effect on the atmospheric ozone layer (ODP value is zero). The residence time in the atmosphere is 3 1~42 years.

Harm of heptafluoropropane to human body

The harm of heptafluoropropane to human body is mainly hydrogen fluoride produced by heptafluoropropane differentiation at high temperature. Inhalation by human body will cause symptoms such as general discomfort, but its toxicity is low and it will not cause obvious harm to human body.

Only when the concentration of heptafluoropropane reaches 10% will it cause human discomfort. The products differentiated from heptafluoropropane by heating will shorten haloalkane and do harm to human body.

The spraying time at the fire scene was shortened from 10s to 5s, and the differentiated products were cut by nearly half. Therefore, heptafluoropropane is safe, and it will not suffocate or cause poisoning as long as it follows the instructions for use and prevents it from being used at high temperature.
