Brief introduction of tactical content
The Collection of Notes on Politics and Art was handed down by Zhang, a great statesman in Ming Dynasty. Zhang was born in the turning point of the Ming Dynasty from strength to decline, and served as the first assistant for ten years, making great efforts to save the day, so that the already devastated Ming Dynasty regained hope and vitality. Historian Huang Renyu vividly described Zhang in Fifteen Years in Wanli Period: "Zhang always seems to be a symbol of wisdom. He has Xuan Lang eyes, a long beard and pays attention to dressing up. His robe is wrinkled like new every day. His thoughts and appearances are exactly the same. If he doesn't open his mouth, he can reveal the crux of the matter as soon as he opens his mouth. His words are short and pithy, which is beyond doubt. It is in line with an old saying in China,' If a lady doesn't say anything, she will have something to say.' " This Machiavelli book does not exist in the public works, but is the name of later generations based on the compilation of Machiavelli Classics by Zhang Gong. The current edition comes from a manuscript written by a Japanese scholar in that year, which is kept in the library of Imperial Capital University in Tokyo. As one of the few Machiavelli's works in ancient China, it has extremely high reference value.
