Readers who accidentally lose their ID cards should go to the accreditation office of Shanghai Library or the public branch of Shanghai Central Library District (county) and grass-roots service points of various streets (towns) in time, report the loss with valid ID cards or report the loss online, so as not to cause greater losses. Before reporting the loss, the reader shall bear the losses caused by others fraudulently using the reader's card.
You can reissue the card after reporting the loss. Readers of ordinary borrowing function, please go to the initial application hall to restore the original function and validity period. For readers with other functions, please go to Shanghai Library to apply for a replacement card.
Matters needing attention in the use of reader's card:
1. Each reader can only apply for one reader's card, and can apply for different functions according to personal needs.
2. To apply for the reference lending function, foreign readers and foreign readers must show their Shanghai long-term residence permit at the same time.
3. All central branches can handle ordinary lending functions. Other functions need to be handled in Shanghai Library.
