The purpose of the Jinwen Book Award
The National Library hopes to commend excellent books through awards and create a good social atmosphere for authors to write good books, publishers to publish good books and readers to read good books.

The significance of this award named "Jinwen" is that it is a traditional symbol of the National Library. The deeper significance is that the name of "Bridge of Culture" shows that the National Library is willing to serve as a bridge to communicate culture and play a role in promoting the benign interaction among authors, publishers and readers.
