The school was established in 19 10. Moved seven times, 1 1 renamed, 1979 officially renamed the affiliated high school of Shaanxi Normal University. The school covers an area of 1 10 mu, with more than 4,300 students and more than 300 faculty members.

The school layout is divided into four sections from north to south: sports area, teaching area, office area and student apartment. The school has 10 fully equipped science, chemistry and biology laboratories, 56 special computer classrooms, 2 special voice classrooms, 2 special music classrooms and 2 special art classrooms, and the campus network covers the whole campus.
