Nanle County is an agricultural county located at the junction of Hebei, Shandong and Henan provinces. Nanle No.1 Middle School, founded in 195 1, is a model ordinary high school in Henan Province. Before 1995, Nanle No.1 Middle School was short of teachers, with backward infrastructure and stagnant education quality. However, it is in such a small county with a weak economic foundation, and an ordinary county-level middle school with a low starting point. After ten years of development, it has run a high-quality education.

1995, a new leadership team with Gu Huxi (national excellent teacher, Henan excellent teacher, Henan excellent principal, Henan model worker, provincial special-grade teacher, municipal excellent professional and technical personnel, and deputy director of Nanle County People's Congress Standing Committee) as the principal came into being. At the beginning of taking office, they thought hard and studied the good strategy to revitalize Nanle No.1 Middle School. Together with the faculty and staff of the whole school, they boldly reformed, set up a brand-new concept of running a school, and explored a new way for poor counties to run large-scale education.

Today, the fixed assets of Henan Nanle No.1 Middle School have increased from less than 6.5438+0 million yuan in 1995 to more than 60 million yuan today. There are 54 classes and 2700 students in the school. The school has 258 teaching and administrative staff, including 203 full-time teachers, 6 special-grade teachers, more than 30 national backbone teachers, provincial academic leaders and provincial and municipal backbone teachers. The school is equipped with more than 260 teaching and office microcomputers, basically reaching one computer for each teacher. The school has complete accommodation conditions, and the dining hall can accommodate more than 2,000 people at the same time.
