Introduction to Lantian Middle School:
The old campus of Lantian Middle School in Jiedong District is located in the old town of Xinheng Town, covering only 16 mu. The school, formerly known as Lantian Bookstore, was founded in 1 149 by Zheng Guohan (Lantian, Jieyang), an assistant of Song Bing Department, with a history of 872 years. In the 28th year of Qianlong (A.D. 1763), Lantian Bookstore moved to Shandong Bamboo Slips in Xinhenglang and was renamed Lantian Academy.
Tongzhi 12 (AD 1874), Lantian College moved to the current campus of Lantian Middle School; After entering the Republic of China, Lantian Academy was founded as a county agricultural junior vocational school and a county private Lantian middle school.
After liberation, it was renamed County No.3 Middle School, Weidong Middle School and Xinheng Middle School. Since 1989, it has been renamed Lantian Middle School. A high school was established from 1958, and now it is the high school in our county. There are more than 3,000 students in the school, including faculty 175 students and 4 classes1student.
With the support of the government and people from all walks of life, Lantian Middle School has built a new campus covering an area of 130 mu, with a total investment of more than 30 million yuan and a construction area of 56,600 square meters, providing 4,000 degrees, including 3 teaching buildings,/kloc-0 library and/kloc-0 experimental building (the construction has not yet started, and the planned land for the experimental building has become a parking lot for teachers.
There are 1 teachers' dormitory, 4 student dormitories (there are only two fans in the dormitory, and there is no air conditioning, and the water supply on the fifth and sixth floors is interrupted during the peak water consumption period), 1 multi-functional gymnasium (the construction date is unknown), 1 canteen (the sanitary conditions of the canteen are average) and a 400-meter standard runway.
The new campus is designed according to the standards of provincial first-class schools, and adopts the mode of "separation of three areas (teaching area, dormitory area and sports area)", that is, the dormitory, basketball court and teaching area are separated by iron nets, and the gates are opened and closed regularly. All supporting facilities are complete, integrating architectural aesthetics and practicality.
