History of Lixin No.1 Middle School
Lixin No.1 Middle School was founded in 1958. After several generations' efforts, it has made remarkable achievements in running schools and trained a large number of outstanding talents for the country. Especially in recent years, the school adheres to the school-running philosophy of "harmony, standardization and excellent development", and adheres to the school motto spirit of "determination to be hongyi, perfect Xiu De, extensive and profound, harmonious and standardized, and excellent development", further promotes the education and teaching reform, continuously strengthens the construction of teachers, effectively improves the school-running conditions, and achieves record-breaking results in college entrance examination year after year, realizing two leaps of building a new campus and becoming a provincial-level demonstration high school.

The old campus is located at the intersection of Renmin Road and Xiangyang Road along the Fumeng River in the central area of the county. 1958 When the school was founded, we didn't have our own classroom, so we had to rent a house for classes. It was not until the beginning of 1960 that a simple school building was built. So far, the school has 12 faculty members, 20 simple huts and 100 students. 1965 New Kuhn County, 1966 The school was renamed Lixin Middle School, which was directly under the jurisdiction of the County Education Bureau. With the support of county leaders and the joint efforts of teaching staff, the school's face has changed quickly. It became the largest middle school in the county at that time in terms of teacher equipment, school building construction and enrollment scale.

When Lixin Middle School was about to take off, the "Cultural Revolution" began. During the period of 1966, the county party Committee sent a cultural revolution working group to the school and seized all the power of the school. The headmaster "stood aside", the party and government organizations were paralyzed, and some teachers were branded as "gangs". Students are connected in series, and classes are suspended to make a revolution. In the late Cultural Revolution, a letter from Zhang Tiesheng made teachers afraid to teach and students unwilling to learn. Learning "agriculture-oriented", running schools and linking factories with schools, these abnormal teaching phenomena continued until 1976.

After ten years of turmoil, school work is gradually on the right track. 1980, the school was renamed Lixin No.1 Middle School and was also designated as a key middle school in Fuyang. Since then, the school has entered a good foundation development period.

In the early 1990s, the school put forward the spirit of "three hardships" (leaders, teachers and students), strengthened quality awareness, standardized teaching management and reformed enrollment methods. From 1993 to 1999, the passing rate of college entrance examination ranked first in Fuyang key middle school for seven consecutive years, achieving "seven consecutive championships". From 1993 to 1996, it has been rated as an advanced educational unit in Fuyang for four consecutive years. 123 students in the school's science and technology line in 1996, breaking through the 100-person mark. The municipal party Committee and municipal government awarded the college entrance examination contribution award, and awarded a bonus of 15000 yuan. On March 24-26, 1997, the school held an exchange meeting on the educational experience of ordinary senior high schools in Fuyang. At the meeting, the Municipal Education Bureau called on the whole city to learn from the experience of Lixin No.1 Middle School.

Since 1998, the school has been planning the construction of the new campus. In the autumn of 2003, the new campus broke ground, and the first phase of the project was completed in the autumn of 2005, and the new campus welcomed 2600 freshmen. The new campus is located at the intersection of He Fei Road and Xinjian Road, covering an area of 163 mu. While building the new campus, the school has also carried out the work of striving for a provincial model high school. Because the county's "two basics" work failed to pass the national acceptance, the work of striving for a provincial model high school was forced to be delayed. After unremitting efforts, it passed the evaluation and acceptance of municipal experts in June 2007 and passed the acceptance of provincial expert review group at the end of February. In April 2008, the Provincial Department of Education was officially launched, and the school ranks among the provincial model high schools. During this period, the school's work has been steadily advanced, and the number of undergraduate students who have reached the college entrance examination has increased year by year, winning the top prize in arts and sciences in Bozhou college entrance examination for six times.

Over the past 50 years, the school has fully implemented the party's educational policy, focused on moral education, and constantly improved the quality of students; Follow the laws of education and teaching, and constantly explore new modes and new ways of school management; Strive to build a high-level, high-quality teacher team and increase core competitiveness; Gradually improve teaching facilities and create a beautiful educational environment; Promote the construction of campus culture through multiple channels and form distinctive school-running characteristics.
