2. Find "Insert" on the document toolbar and click it.

3. There are several options under the Insert command. You can insert characters in the manuscript by choosing the page number.

4. You can modify some necessary properties in the property column on the right. Under the "More" tab, you can view the same paragraph without paging. This function is quite practical in large paragraphs of text.

5. Another way to insert the page number is to move the mouse directly to the top of the page, and a long box will appear. Click the box in the middle and the words "Insert Page Number" will appear.

6. Click Insert Page Number, and then select a style for inserting page numbers. Just select a given style to insert.
