At present, Yuexiu District, Haizhu District, Liwan District, Tianhe District, Baiyun District, Huadu District, Panyu District, Huangpu District, Conghua District and Zengcheng District prohibit any unit or individual from setting off fireworks and firecrackers.

Any unit or individual shall set off fireworks and firecrackers in accordance with the discharge instructions, and abide by the following provisions:

1. Do not throw or set off fireworks and firecrackers at pedestrians, vehicles, buildings, structures, woodlands, public green spaces, underground pipe networks and important facilities;

2. Fireworks and firecrackers shall not be set off in buildings and structures, roofs and balconies;

3, shall not affect the road traffic safety;

4. Fireworks and firecrackers shall not be set off in other ways that endanger the personal and property safety of the state, the collective and others.

Provisions of Guangzhou Municipality on the Safety Management of Fireworks and Firecrackers

Article 7 Fireworks and firecrackers are prohibited in the following areas of this Municipality:

(1) Yuexiu District, Haizhu District, Liwan District, Tianhe District, Baiyun District and Huangpu District;

(2) The following villages (communities) around Baiyun International Airport: Guangya Street Tangguang Village, tuanjie village, Huashan Town Donghu Village, Xiaobu Village, Pingdong Village, Pingshan Xu Cun Village, Luochang Village, Huadong Town Tianhe Village, Jiuhu Village, Fenggang Village, Sanfeng Village, Jiuyi Village, Promotion Community, Xiangshan Village, Nanxi Village, Shanxia Village, Yong Guang Village and Datang Village.

The time, place and types of fireworks and firecrackers restricted or prohibited in other areas shall be determined by the District People's Government and announced to the public. Article 8 No unit or individual may set off fireworks and firecrackers in the following places outside the areas specified in Article 7 of these Provisions and around them:

Office of state organs;

(two) museums, exhibition halls, archives, libraries, cultural relics protection units, cultural relics protection sites, historical and cultural blocks, historical buildings protection scope;

(three) the production, management and storage units of flammable and explosive materials and other key fire control units;

(4) Within the safety protection zone of power transmission and transformation facilities;

(five) medical institutions, kindergartens, primary and secondary schools, youth palaces, pension institutions, shopping malls, markets, etc. ;

(six) forest, nursery and other key fire prevention areas and drinking water source protection areas;

(seven) transportation hubs such as stations, docks and airports, rail transit and railway line safety protection zones, and overpasses, overpasses, tunnels, motor vehicle parking lots and other places;

(eight) other places with fire and explosion hazards and key fire safety units.

The specific scope of the place where fireworks and firecrackers are prohibited in the preceding paragraph and its surroundings shall be set up by the relevant units in accordance with the regulations and shall be responsible for its maintenance.
