At the easternmost end of this road, the north side used to be the German Governor's Office Primary School. During the Japanese occupation, it was expanded into the second ordinary primary school in Japan, which only accepted Japanese children. After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, it was used as a US military camp. A fire broke out in the main building, which became the headquarters of the People's Liberation Army after liberation. The original affiliated stadium built the first swimming pool in Qingdao. Opposite is the Oriental Market built by 1933, which is a comprehensive market mainly for non-staple food. Outside the north gate is No.4 Guangxi Road, a desert island bookstore dealing in new literature books. It is the contact point of Qingdao underground party, and was once the activity place of Qingdao "Left-wing Alliance".

No.3 Guangxi Road was once the German Consulate in Qingdao, and the building was built at the intersection of Guangxi Road and Qingdao. After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, Kong Xiangmian, the seventy-fifth grandson of Confucius and the manager of Industrial Bank, bought this building, which was named "Nanyuan". 1985, Kong Xiangmian's daughter Kong Lingren donated it to the country, and now it is the Confucius Memorial Hall in Nanyuan.

One of the earliest buildings on Guangxi Road is the post and telecommunications building at the intersection of Anhui, with a square tower top. It is diagonally opposite Luda Company, a Japanese mining company in Shandong. After liberation, he served as the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions and the Municipal Association for Science and Technology, and now it is demolished as the Qingdao Daily Group Building.

Guangxi Road 13 used to be Mivisky Library, which is a private library. Mivis basically lives at No.6 Guangxi Road.

Geely Foreign Firm, opposite the southwest of the post office, used to be the largest department store in Qingdao in the early days, dealing in world-famous goods mainly with European products: German department stores, Russian blankets, Czech leather shoes, Italian clothes and so on. Next to Feikai's jewelry store, opposite Henry Street Police Station, China became the first police station after Qingdao was reclaimed. Next door is the drugstore, and behind it is the Oak Hotel (now the "red house").

To the west of Fisher Heng Jewelry Store is an apartment building. Yu Dafu and Wang Yingxia lived here for a month and wrote Diary of Summer Resort, Qingdao Miscellaneous Affairs and Travel Notes.

At the southeast corner of the intersection of Guangxi Road and Anhui Road stands a beautiful building, which was built by the German company Bodwell during the period from 1899 to 1900. People generally call it "Bodwich Commercial Building". This photo also shows that the northwest corner and southwest corner of the intersection are an open space. This shows that the construction time of Landman Building and Geely Department Store is obviously later than this time. After the well-designed Bodevich Commercial Building was completed, the company did not use it independently, but rented out some floors. According to historical records, in 1900, the first floor of Bodwich Commercial Building was rented by a department store opened by Gabby Co., Ltd. with a certain scale. The arched windows facing the street show people a dazzling array of goods, including fashion, cosmetics, alcohol and cigarettes from Europe, exquisite porcelain, handicrafts and tea from China, Japanese silk and cloth, and fresh vegetables and fruits from suburban farms.

Guangxi Road and Zhongshan Road used to be Qingdao Daxin People's Daily, which published Daxin People's Daily to publicize the enemy and puppet. After War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, he became a Qingdao newspaper. After liberation, it used to be a handicraft company, but now it is a developed building and a bank of communications.

The intersection of Guangxi Road and Henan Road is a "carriage yard". In the first half of the 20th century, the carriage was the main means of transportation in Qingdao. This is one of several carriage yards in the city. The buses in Qingdao are very distinctive. Because there are many mountain roads in Qingdao, it usually takes two horses to become a "double-driving carriage". The carriage has no carriage, only a canvas roof with flounces hanging around it. There are three people on each side, one next to the rider, and * * * can seat seven people.

Diagonally opposite the carriage yard is the "First Hostel", which is relatively large among the hostels run by China people and has advanced equipment. Located in front of the railway station, it occupies a favorable geographical position and has great influence in China. Now it's a private house.

The westernmost part of Guangxi Road used to be the Fifth Park, with a small area, only trees and flowers, but no mountains and pools. This is a park for the surrounding residents to rest and a place for passengers to wait for the train. Later, when the railway station was expanded, it was demolished.

Qingdao Bus No.2 and No.5 trolleybus lines pass through this road, which is the terminal-Qingdao Railway Station. 1960 to 1997, the tram went to the west of Zhongshan Road, 1998 to 20 10, went to the west of Henan Road, and then bypassed Guangxi Branch Road due to subway construction.
