According to Sogou Encyclopedia search, Jiexi Jinkeng Middle School was founded in 1942. At the initiative of Mr. Lin Xianli, the former county magistrate of Jieyang County, and with the efforts of Xianxian in Qiankeng Township, a private Qiankeng Middle School was established. 1952 was renamed "Qiankeng Middle School".
