There are many kinds of institutions: teachers are the most familiar ones, which we often discuss. In addition to teachers, there are full-funded units such as libraries, and there are also full-funded and self-supporting differences such as daily newspapers and hospitals.
There are two main types of civil servants: one is based on the nature, such as the government and the party and mass organs; One is for the public, such as the law enforcement detachment.
I am the one who started as a teacher and later turned to be a civil servant.
I took the teacher qualification certificate when I graduated, because I don't like professional work, but I need to live and find a job after graduation. When I graduated, I went back to my hometown and was admitted to a junior high school in a township as a teacher. During my time as a teacher, I experienced the work, life and treatment of teachers. I don't want to be a teacher in villages and towns, so I have been taking public exams. At the end of my third year as a teacher, I successfully passed the public examination and entered the civil service in the city, and I have been working ever since.
Public institutions
I think civil servants are better than public institutions:
First, civil servants are better paid than public institutions. As far as I know, the salaries of civil servants in most cities are higher than those in public institutions. For example, in my city, cadres who have the same conditions to enter civil servants and institutions, the salary of civil servants and institutions is about 1000, excluding some food subsidies and transportation subsidies. There are basically no funded institutions, but there are some. This is the reason of institutional policy. I remember when I was a teacher, my performance was deducted from my salary, but civil servants didn't, and there was an extra year-end bonus.
Second, from the perspective of future development, the promotion of civil servants is better than that of public institutions. Institutions take the route of professional title evaluation, and we often meet the professional titles of management posts and technical posts. When I was a teacher, my technical title was 12, the lowest level. It's hard to go up a storey still higher. There must be vacancies in the upper schools, which require papers, continuing education and so on. But now civil servants are all in parallel ranks. If they do a better job and are sincere, it is easy to get promoted. According to the regulations, it takes me four years to go from clerk to minor subject, and the probation period for clerk is one year. But if I work in a public institution, I may not be promoted to a higher level after four years.
Civil servant recruitment
Third, income and work are relatively stable. A good friend of mine is in the daily newspaper, and he belongs to the difference. In the past, when newspapers were not so developed from media and online media, their income was higher than that of our civil servants. But now because of the rapid development of online media, the circulation of their newspapers is really pitiful and can only be completed by political tasks. Therefore, their income has dropped a lot. The key is that if the unit salary is less, it will translate into an increase in the amount of tasks. So many of their reporters have changed careers.
These are some personal experiences. Whether you choose civil servants or institutions, it is all good, but from my point of view, I prefer to choose civil servants. It would be better if you could be admitted to a civil servant. If you can't, the institution will be fragrant.
