Every year, the library shelves some damaged, outdated and underutilized books and newspapers for updating. After re-selection, some books were left in the second-tier stacks of the library for some readers to read, while others were eliminated. Reporting old books and periodicals is to remove and cancel old books and periodicals from the collection and loan system, and deal with them through allocation, exchange, discount and scrapping.
