Taking Sichuan University Library as an example, all social readers can use our library resources after certain procedures. Please bring your ID card, letter of introduction from your company and one-inch bareheaded recent photo to the nearest library.

In order to speed up the circulation of books and let more readers use them, the library limits the renewal to no more than two times. If it has been renewed twice, it can't be renewed. Before the second renewal expires, you need to return it to the library.

If the book is dirty, please take it to the book return office of the library, and the staff will decide to deface or compensate according to the degree of defacement.

During the winter and summer vacations, except for national holidays (such as the Spring Festival), the library is open to the public every Monday to Friday morning, and books can be borrowed and returned. Books whose holidays have expired will generally be postponed until the first week of school. If the book has not expired, you can renew it through the internet.

In principle, the lost books should be compensated by the original books and periodicals (please pay attention when buying books: the title, author, publishing house, publication year and ISBN number should be consistent with the lost books). You can buy it through publishing houses and bookstores, and take this book to the book compensation office of the nearest branch library. The procedure is very simple. As long as you show your library card, the teacher in charge of book compensation will go through the book compensation procedures after checking and verifying the books. If it is really difficult to buy the real thing, according to the collection and publication, it will be compensated at 5- 10 times of the original book price. Please go to the library as soon as possible to go through the relevant formalities, and please pay attention to the overdue borrowing of books.
