Teachers and students of the whole school can carry out OPAC catalog query, reader borrowing information query, book reservation, renewal, new book recommendation, new book release, virtual consultation and answering questions, database retrieval and full-text download, online video on demand, document delivery and other services through the network. While providing readers with traditional services such as information consultation, literature retrieval and new book recommendation, we have built five characteristic databases, set up our library's original foreign language periodical catalogue database and key subject network resource navigation system, opened an online instant consultation system, and realized network services such as printing literature borrowing, e-reading, information retrieval, document delivery, user training and question-and-answer consultation.
Borrowing and returning is convenient for readers. The libraries of the two campuses have unified management and procurement, and established a unified and standardized bibliographic data system for the whole school. The library of the school headquarters is directly connected with the library of Huangjiahu Campus through optical cables, and books are "borrowed and returned" between the libraries of the two campuses and between the branch libraries of the college, which realizes the real enjoyment of resources, greatly facilitates readers' borrowing, and has obvious effects.
Improve the rules and regulations to ensure the quality of service. The library pays attention to standardized management and has a complete business standard and management system. Improve the post responsibility system, compete for post listing services, and attach importance to strengthening post responsibility education and post business training. Through the implementation of the "curator reception day" system in the last week of each month; Set up a "reader's suggestion box" to open the box regularly every day to collect readers' opinions; Regularly issue "readers' opinion questionnaire"; Set up a reader's guest book on the library home page, so that the library can obtain readers' opinions through multiple channels. At the same time, establish the system of curator's opinion signing and processing result reply; And feedback opinions and rectification measures to readers in time through online reply, centralized written reply, and regular reply on the bulletin board. It ensures the high quality of reader service and makes readers satisfied.
Carry out various forms of reader training activities. In order to enable undergraduates to skillfully use the collection resources, the library attaches great importance to the training of readers, and has set up special training classrooms to improve readers' ability to correctly use the library's literature resources through various forms such as freshmen's entrance education, literature retrieval courses, compiling user education courseware, and lectures on special databases. In addition, the library also publicizes and educates students by means of publicity columns and editing library news.
