1August, 1999, the library introduced the core management software Huiwen system to build the library automation platform. As the technical director of the project, he plays an important role in the implantation of the system platform, the training of post personnel and the continuous guarantee of the use process. She carefully studied the internal structure of the system, mastered the internal operation mechanism of the database, and formulated a reasonable and effective workflow. Due to good management, the system has been running efficiently, safely and without any accident for 10 years since its application.
Digital construction is the development direction of the library. In order to promote the digital construction of libraries, Comrade Chen led colleagues and other departments to jointly develop Jiangsu University's information literacy education platform, dissertation submission comprehensive platform, personalized service platform, book and life platform, RSS news aggregation and so on in recent two years, which improved the service level of libraries. Always pay attention to the operation of Tsinghua, Wanfang, Superstar and other major mirror stations in the library, update the data of mirror stations in time, and do a good job in logistics support for teachers and students to consult the materials; According to the needs of teaching and scientific research in our school and the collection characteristics of our library, we have built several literature databases, such as multimedia database and vehicle engineering characteristic database.
Always pay attention to the technical development of libraries at home and abroad, and introduce and innovate technology according to the characteristics of our library, so as to better serve our work. For example, use faculty email to send reminders to teachers and graduate students; Open the entrusted borrowing books in different places to realize multi-campus book borrowing; Using data mining technology to analyze readers' borrowing data and guide readers and book ordering.
