Xi 'an's relatively large bookstores include the Book Building on East Street, Jiahui Hantang Bookstore on Chang 'an South Road, Zhongshan Bookstore on Wei 'er Street and Xinhua Wenxuan Bookstore on North Street, all of which are relatively large. There are some bookstores on Dongjie Street, such as Xinhua Bookstore and Foreign Language Bookstore, which are small in scale and not so complete in variety. In fact, the books in Shanxi Library on the Second Ring Road are quite complete, but they can only be borrowed, not bought.
