Talking about the Development Trend of Library Management System
The development of information technology has brought earth-shaking changes to library management. The operating environment, information carrier and service mode of the library have changed obviously. Paper resources and physical resources are no longer the main resources of the library. Digital resources occupy an important position in library resources and form a certain scale. Influenced by search engines, readers began to like to use fast and real-time library resources search tools, hoping that the library can provide services for others.
Although all aspects of the library have changed greatly, the library management system * * * LMS * *, as the core application technology, has not changed much, and even has been questioned by people. The development of Web2.0 and Library2.0 has brought new changes to the library management system, and LMS has also begun to develop and become an important technical means to promote the innovation of library management.
1. Current situation of library management system
1. 1 information island
With the development of the library, there are more and more businesses. The existing LMS can't meet all the business requirements. Libraries began to have many independent business systems, and the phenomenon of information islands became more and more serious. This situation has brought a lot of trouble for readers to obtain resources, resulting in the waste of library resources and the failure of integrated services. For example, in the paper purchase and submission system, readers can't use personal library to submit papers, and there will be repeated login problems, which will bring great trouble to readers' resource acquisition, and the library can't obtain readers' paper submission through LMS.
1.2 The integration idea is not obvious.
LMS is just an automatic management system of library business, which mainly focuses on paper books and documents. The management of digital resources is inefficient, it is difficult to form an integrated network information service system in the library, it is impossible to take care of all the business of the library, and the integration idea is not obvious. For example, electronic official documents, fund management, party affairs management and other contents cannot be exchanged by LMS, and LMS needs to be further developed.
1.3 has little relevance and interoperability with other application systems.
With the increasing number of library services, all services may be concentrated in the middle of LMS, so to realize the integrated management of the library, it is necessary to realize the seamless docking and interoperability between LMS and other application systems. However, the existing LMS can not achieve seamless connection with other application systems, which eventually leads to low efficiency of library management and high resource consumption, which is not conducive to reflecting the reader-centered management concept.
2. The development trend of library management system
2. 1 Embodiment of management concept in LMS
LMS without the infiltration of management thought can only realize the automation of library management process, but it is difficult to embody management thought and promote the sustainable development of library. At present, most LMS applied in libraries can't reflect the management concept of managers, and it is an application system centered on the management of paper resources in libraries. It is precisely because LMS can't reflect the management concept of the library, and the curator can't get a lot of library execution information through LMS, and can't make scientific development decisions based on it, so many curators are reluctant to use LMS. Therefore, in the construction of LMS, designers should take readers as the center, all activities as the center, and realize equal emphasis on resources, services and management. Resources are the foundation of service development, service is the purpose of management, and management is a means to improve service efficiency and quality. The embodiment of management concept in LMS is an important development direction of library management system in the future, and it is also the focus that practitioners need to work hard.
2.2 Open cooperative management concept
At present, the library management system takes paper resources as the core, which cannot take into account the management of digital resources. Therefore, it is difficult to integrate paper resources and digital resources, and the information island is serious, so it is difficult to realize seamless docking of different application systems. These problems are important for the development of LMS. LMS must adhere to the concept of open cooperation, realize effective cooperation between metadata providers and system providers, and finally build an LMS that meets the needs of library management, and promote its continuous upgrading and transformation under the development of information technology. For example, the ADLIB2.0 system of Chongqing University Library cooperates with Beijing Superstar Company to develop the library knowledge search system * * * LKS * *, and Superstar Company provides metadata retrieval * * *. The developed LKS can not only search the collection resources of Chongqing University, but also display superstar digital books, read and display the book information of knowledge base, and retrieve the metadata of periodical database, which greatly facilitates readers' resource retrieval and promotes the development of Chongqing University Library.
2.3 Data-driven management
Most libraries will obtain the management status of the library through reader exchange meetings, questionnaires and satisfaction surveys, and then improve the resource construction and service level of the library on this basis. However, these methods have little effect, heavy workload, and the content pages reflected are relatively simple and incomplete, which can not objectively and fairly reflect the management status of the library. Data-driven management, as one of the important directions of LMS development, can use data to find problems, mine and process the logs and historical data generated during the execution of the library, and obtain valuable data and information, which can promote managers to make scientific decisions and promote the smooth development of various management work in the library. For example, by analyzing the historical data of readers' borrowing, we can understand readers' borrowing habits and find readers' interest in borrowing, thus improving the level of library resource construction and providing readers with more needed resources.
2.4 Integration of service evaluation system
In the evaluation, libraries often use evaluation systems such as SERVQUAL and LiBQUAL+TM to evaluate library services, monitor the situation of library services, generate service status evaluation tables, and urge managers to adjust the services provided by libraries in time, so as to provide more satisfactory services for readers, really promote the improvement of library management level and promote the healthy and sustainable development of libraries.
3. Concluding remarks
Library management system is the basic application system of library business, reader service and management, and it is the main technical means of library management activities at present. Under the influence of Web2.0 and Library2.0, great changes have taken place, which has promoted the improvement of library management efficiency, but there are still problems such as information island and low comprehensive management efficiency. With the development of information technology and library, the library management system will develop in the direction of infiltration of management ideas, data-driven management, open collaborative management and overall service evaluation system.

Talking about the Library Management System Based on RFID Technology
First, the principle and overview of RFID technology management system
* * * The meaning of radio frequency technology [1]
Radio frequency identification (abbreviated as RFID***) is a non-contact and automatic identification wireless communication technology, which uses radio signals to identify data related to media reading and writing to realize automatic identification of targets without manual intervention.
* * * Composition of two * * * data sets
The combination of reader and tag constitutes an RFID system, which writes information into the reader in the form of data stream and generates data. If a book is tagged with an RFID tag, the book information in the tag will be automatically recorded in the reader after being scanned, and the data generated after repeated scanning constitutes an RFID data set [2]. EPC***Engineer, Procure, Construct*** * * * * is the code of electronic products, which is used to uniquely identify certain information, and is the unique scanning identification symbol of each record label. The data generated by RFID can be viewed in triples, namely EPC, location and time. EPC is the only code to identify electronic scanning, Location is the location of the book after scanning, and Time represents the time when the tagged book was scanned. At a fixed time, use a reader to scan books with labels, and write down EPC, location and time when scanning. These three pieces of information constitute the most primitive RFID. The composition of RFID cube is based on the idea of data compression, which compresses and merges RFID data warehouse to get data. It is mainly composed of three parts, namely, information table * * * information * * */map table * * * map * * *, and resident table * * * * *.
Design principles of * * * three * * RFID technology management system
It is an intelligent book management system based on RFID, which upgrades the traditional bar magnetic stripe technology and bar code technology, fully demonstrates the five principles of safety, practicality, standardization, maintainability and expansibility, and uses the technical advantages of RFID technology to connect the book management system with it to fully complete the automation of book management.
Second, the application of library management system based on RFID technology
When the library applies RFID technology, the biggest problem is how to choose the frequency band. Generally speaking, the working frequency of high-frequency RFID is 13.56MHz, and its reading distance is generally less than 1 m, while the working frequency of UHF RFID tags is generally between 860-960 MHz, which can also be divided into passive tags and active tags [3]. Because of its ultra-high frequency working efficiency, the reading distance of RFID system is more than one meter, which can generally reach 4 to 6 meters, and the maximum can even reach 10 meter. The electromagnetic emission principle adopted by high frequency technology is interfered by electromagnetic, which will affect the normal function of the tag. Therefore, UHF RFID technology will be difficult to realize 24-hour self-service book return at ATM.
* * * The practical application of RFID technology at home and abroad.
At present, more and more countries have begun to try to adopt or put RFID technology into use. In the United States, Singapore, New Zealand and other countries, RFID technology has been increasingly applied to library management technology. The first in the world to use RFID technology is the Singapore Library. As early as 2002, they borrowed books from the National Library with every Singaporean citizen's ID card or driver's license. Put the RFID tag on the back of each book, and the borrower only needs to insert valid certificates such as ID card or driver's license into the self-service lending machine, and put the book on the scanned version to scan and print the relevant lending slip. The receipt will show the book title, borrowing date, returning date, etc. It looks clear at a glance. You don't have to go to the library where you borrowed the book when you return it. You can choose the nearest library to return books.
There are 76 such external libraries in Singapore. Because it is independent and no one returns books, the library is open 24 hours a day. Singapore postal department collects, sorts and classifies books returned by readers from different places every day and transports them to their libraries. Using the electronic chip reader in RFID technology, we can not only automatically check whether the readers return the books in time, but also find out whether the books are placed in the corresponding positions in order. Using RFID technology in Singapore's library management system alone has saved more than 2,000 librarians, saving 80% of the borrowing time compared with the traditional bar code scanning. The application of RFID technology has greatly increased people's reading. In 2002, the library borrowing volume of Singapore citizens reached 30%. RFID technology has gradually become a national trend [4]. With the extensive use and maturity of RFID technology, the National Library of China also introduced RFID technology, and then Hangzhou Library, Shenzhen Library and Xiamen Jimei University Library also successfully introduced it.
Analysis on the Application Effect of * * RFID Technology in Library
From the application of RFID technology at home and abroad for many years, it has achieved remarkable results in many aspects. The most profound change lies in the convenience of large-capacity data storage and wireless communication, which has promoted a series of industries related to the book industry, greatly promoted the national public cultural undertakings, promoted the automation of book borrowing, collection and circulation, and completed a series of book borrowing and returning activities in an integrated, efficient and simple manner. RFID technology has promoted the development of libraries. According to the data, the application of RFID technology in large libraries around the world is increasing by 30% every year. Although the application foundation of RFID technology in Chinese libraries is the smallest, it develops the fastest.
Three. Concluding remarks
To sum up, the important topic of smart library management research now is how to further improve the efficiency of collection management and the speed of book circulation. The research of library management system based on RFID technology will become a brand-new mode of one-stop service of library management system. The author thinks that RFID technology is an important means to realize informatization, which makes library management more scientific and autonomous, and is a new opportunity for the development of library cause.
