The predecessor of Zibo No.7 Middle School.
Zibo No.7 Middle School, formerly known as the Third Vocational School of East China Coal Mine Administration of China Ministry of Fuel Industry, was founded in 1949. In the early days of running a school, the purpose was to train coal miners. 1954 was renamed Zibo Coal Miners' Children Middle School, which provided all the students with food, clothing and school supplies, superior to local ordinary middle schools. This school is well funded. At that time, when there was no electricity in the southern suburbs of Zhoucun, the school was equipped with diesel generators, and the lighting was all generated by itself. Vehicles are mainly used to transport grain, vegetables and fuel; The school also has a movie projector, which shows movies to teachers and students on Sundays and holidays. The teaching instruments in the laboratory are relatively complete, and the library has more than 50,000 books. These are unmatched by ordinary middle schools in the early 1950s.

1June, 955, the school was placed under local management and named Zibo No.7 Middle School, which was directly led by Zibo Education Bureau. The first principal of Zibo No.7 Middle School was Zhang Xinfan (a demobilized military cadre, who later served as deputy director of the Propaganda Department of Zibo Municipal Committee and director of the Municipal Science and Technology Commission). This man has many bold ideas about the scale of Zibo No.7 Middle School. He presided over the construction of an auditorium for 2000 people on the hillside outside the school gate. It is also planned to build a new school gate, so that standing in the north of the school gate, you can have a bird's eye view of Zhoucun City. He wants to make No.7 Middle School a first-class prestigious school in the city. Successive principals are: Lu, Wang Fuheng,, Jiao. Successive Party branch secretaries include Zhang Shenghua, Qi Qi, Zhang Jingtong and Yu Wenguo. They are experienced and capable cadres who can actively implement the party's educational policy and grasp the correct direction of running schools.

The teaching quality of Zibo No.7 Middle School is among the best in the city. This is because there is a team of highly professional teachers. At that time, all the faculty and staff lived on campus, and most comrades didn't go home on Sundays, so they spent their time and energy on teaching and educating people. Teachers can study hard, prepare lessons carefully, listen to lectures and guide, and teaching and research has become a common practice in schools. The Municipal Education Bureau often holds observation and teaching activities in No.7 Middle School to promote advanced teaching experience. Among the former teachers of Zibo No.7 Middle School, there were Jiao Chuansheng (who later became a famous lawyer, philologist and calligrapher) who was brilliant and rigorous in his studies, and Wang Jianjiu (who died). There are also Chao Geng, a famous special Chinese teacher in this city (once the principal of Zibo No.1 Middle School), Wang Yunqing, former president of Zibo Education School, and Wu Yunkun, vice president and professor of Zibo Normal University. They all teach in Zibo No.7 Middle School and shed sweat on this hot land. 1957, students from six classes of Grade Four in Zibo No.7 Middle School graduated and won the first place in the senior high school entrance examination. After that, the students of Grade 5678 are also among the best in the city.

Zibo No.7 Middle School was founded in 1949 and closed in 1969. With a history of only 20 years, it has trained a large number of outstanding talents for the country. According to incomplete statistics, among all previous graduates, Wang Wenze, the general manager of China Energy Development Company (ministerial cadre and senior engineer), Ma Gaoji, Minister of Foreign Affairs of People's Republic of China (PRC), Niu Runqing, former deputy editor-in-chief of Shandong Dazhong Newspaper and writer Sun, professor of Chinese Department of Shandong University, Qiu Shencheng, chief of staff of a division of the Air Force of China People's Liberation Army, Coach Xu Kaicai, head of China People's Liberation Army Bayi Shooting Team (who won the men's shooting championship in the World Emerging Power Games), Xu Rongai, a national first-class actor and deputy head of Shandong Song and Dance Troupe Tang Zuosen, former director of Zibo Weaving and Dyeing Factory, etc. The graduates of Zibo No.7 Middle School who have served in the No.5 Brigade in our district are Wang Mochang, Hu Mingji, Wang Huaiye, Nie Yuzhu, Hu Qingji, Han Kexiang and Han Huanxiang.

During the unprecedented Cultural Revolution, the whole country suffered a catastrophe, education was the hardest hit, and Zibo No.7 Middle School was doomed. 1June, 969, the school was closed. In the process of dissolution, the school property was divided among the communes. The controversial situation at that time is still fresh in my memory. Some parts of a teaching instrument were taken away by two or three companies, and no one could use them. Under the supervision of the "workers' propaganda team", most of the tens of thousands of books in the school library were sent to the paper mill and turned into pulp. Among them, there are many China classics and world literary masterpieces like The Complete Works of Shakespeare. School cadres and teaching staff were assigned to teach in community-run middle schools that were hastily launched by the commune. It is also commendable that comrades still attach importance to education, persist in their work, and cultivate talents in the extremely harsh conditions for running schools.

After the Cultural Revolution, Zibo Education Bureau renamed Linzi No.1 Middle School as Zibo No.7 Middle School. That is, the current school site is located in Zibo No.7 Middle School, south of Xindian, which is different from "Old No.7 Middle School". But the cadres, teachers and students of "Old Seven Middle School" will never forget the years spent in this school.

Zibo No.7 Middle School combines the essence of traditional culture with modern educational ideas, forming the school-running philosophy of "let every student develop into a talent" and the spirit of Zibo No.7 Middle School of "burning passion and pursuing Excellence". The school has been commended as one of the top ten units of professional ethics construction in Shandong Province, an advanced unit of school affairs publicity in Shandong Province, an advanced unit of education trade union work in Shandong Province, an advanced unit of college entrance examination in Zibo, and an advanced unit of high school teaching in Zibo. Lei Jieqiong, former vice chairman of the National People's Congress Standing Committee (NPCSC), inspected the school and wrote an inscription "Training Talents".

The school has 256 teaching and administrative staff, including full-time teachers 180, senior teachers 67, intermediate teachers 62 and masters 42. Teachers in Zibo No.7 Middle School are famous for their "special efforts, special responsibilities and special diligence, and they will never fail every student". A large number of teaching rookies have risen rapidly, becoming the main force of school teaching and management and becoming famous teachers in provinces and cities. There are 2 national backbone teachers, 2 provincial backbone teachers 1 1, 3 national outstanding teachers 1, and more than 30 provincial and municipal teaching experts and academic leaders.

The school covers an area of 200 mu, and its hardware facilities have reached the first-class level in the province. 16000 square meters office, teaching and science and technology complex can be called "the first building in Shandong", and the campus network with eight networks is connected to every classroom. All classrooms are equipped with microcomputers, projectors, large screens, televisions and surveillance cameras. The open reading room, large-scale book bar, science, chemistry and biology laboratories, academic lecture halls and observatories are all equipped according to the latest and highest standards in China. High-standard plastic stadiums, basketball courts, gymnasiums, music teaching centers, art teaching centers, physical education teaching centers and other hardware facilities have reached the first level in the city and the first-class level in the province.

The school has 6 student apartments and 6 student canteens. There are 4000 beds and dining places. The student apartments are warm and comfortable, each with a balcony, bathroom and toilet. The school introduced the competition mechanism in the canteen management, which protected the interests of students to the maximum extent.

The school always adheres to the purpose of "let every student develop into a talent", implements scientific and effective management of students, forms an all-round educational pattern, and creates the most harmonious environment for students to become talents. Pay attention to the disadvantaged groups, the school attaches importance to students with learning difficulties and helps students with financial difficulties. Zibo No.7 Middle School Love Foundation and Qiwangda Scholarship were established, and more than 100,000 yuan was allocated each semester to help poor students.

The school has always been aiming at "developing the school by quality", focusing on improving the quality of teaching and the enrollment rate of college entrance examination, and paying equal attention to "science, literature, sound and beauty", achieving the "top three" and fully blossoming. The school has been rated as an advanced unit of teaching work in the city for more than ten years, and participated in the national Olympic comprehensive competition for ten years, ranking first in the city, and won the honorary title of advanced unit of the National Olympic Games twice in a row. Qi Xiangdong, Wang Zhenfeng, Zhang Guannan, Li and other college entrance examination champions have been born successively. 1000 people have been admitted to national key universities such as Peking University and Tsinghua, and the number of people admitted to Tsinghua and Peking University has always been the first in the city.
