1987 In August, Shanghai Dictionary Publishing House published the China Idiom Dictionary.

The Dictionary of Chinese Idioms is compiled by some editors of the Editorial Department of Chinese Reference Book, Chinese Dictionary and Vocabulary of Shanghai Dictionary Publishing House.
