A Bing assiduously studied Taoist music, kept improving, and widely absorbed the tunes of folk music. He wrote and played more than 270 folk music in his life. His father, Huaqing River, is the head of Leizun Hall, a Taoist temple in Sanqing Hall, Wuxi, and is good at Taoist music. Hua lost his mother at the age of three and was raised by his aunt. At the age of 8, he joined his father as a Taoist in Leizuntang.
