Located in the East Third Ring Road, Chaoyang District, Beijing, Capital Library is a comprehensive large-scale public library in Beijing. It is a "national first-class library" assessed by the former Ministry of People and Culture of China, and is the first batch of "national key protection units of ancient books".
The history of Capital Library can be traced back to 19 13, which was formed by the merger of Shi Jing Library Branch, Shi Jing Public Library and Central Park Library initiated by Mr. Lu Xun. After the Northern Expedition Revolution, the original three libraries were renamed and merged several times and changed to Beijing No.1 Library. 1953, renamed Beijing Library; 1956 10 month, officially named Capital Library.
Instructions for entering the Capital Library:
1. The Capital Library accepts1readers over 3 years old and the Beijing Children's Library accepts1readers under 8 years old.
2. It is recommended to store your school bags and other personal belongings in the bag storage room. Please take valuables with you.
Please pay attention to appearance and dress. People wearing sports vests and slippers are not allowed to enter the museum.
4. Please keep quiet in the reading area, and put the mobile phone in mute state.
Please take good care of the documents and all public property in the museum, and compensate for the damage according to the regulations.
Please keep the environment clean and tidy.
7. Please don't bring pets into the museum.
Please don't eat or drink in the reading area.
9. Smoking and naked flame are strictly prohibited in the museum. Please don't bring inflammable and explosive materials into the museum.
10. Photography is prohibited in the reading area unless specially approved.
