My brother is such a person:
My brother just turned 10 this year, in the fifth grade of primary school. Because of his good academic performance, he is among the best in his class, so all his teachers and classmates like him very much. One of his greatest advantages, or habits, is that he especially likes listening to stories and reading books.
Sometimes when mom and dad are not at home, he doesn't go out to play with friends, but he reads and draws in the house alone. I thought it was strange, so I asked him why he kept watching these things. He said that listening to stories can increase one's knowledge and reading books can broaden one's horizons, which is a special enjoyment. My brother's words shocked me. I didn't expect him to have such a high level of ideological understanding at such a young age, which made me feel ashamed.
Therefore, if parents find that their children like listening to stories and reading books, they should respect their choices, actively support and encourage them, and buy more relevant stories and excellent materials for their children so that they can have a wonderful childhood.
