Qichun No.1 Middle School, the full name of Qichun No.1 High School (Qichun No.1 Middle School for short), was founded in 1939. The school was renamed after several relocations, and took root in Huokou Road, Caohe Town, Qichun County on 1950. In June 2009, it was awarded the title of "Huanggang Model School" by the Education Supervision Office of Hubei Provincial People's Government and the Provincial Department of Education.
