Xianning Vocational and Technical College, located in Xianning City, Hubei Province, is a public full-time comprehensive general higher vocational college organized by Hubei Provincial People's Government. Its predecessor was Xianning Finance School, which was founded in 1965. In 2003, Xianning Vocational and Technical College was formed by the merger of Xianning Education College, Xianning Finance and Trade Business Administration School, Xianning Finance and Taxation Accounting School, Xianning Applied Science and Technology School, Xianning Sports School (founded in 1987) and Xianning Gymnasium. The school motto is "talent and innovation". The school song is the school song of Xianning Vocational and Technical College.
