Pan Heping, professor, doctoral supervisor. Born in 1953, Ezhou, Hubei. Vice President of Geophysics and Spatial Information College, Deputy Director of Chinese mainland Scientific Drilling and Logging Technology Office, and Editorial Board of Natural Gas Industry Magazine. 1978 graduated from the Geophysical Exploration Department of Wuhan Institute of Geology, and 1999 graduated from the Ph.D. From March to July, 2000, he studied at the Earth Research Center in Potsdam, Germany. As a lecturer, he has taught 9 courses for graduate students and undergraduates successively, presided over or completed 2 national natural fund projects and more than 0 vertical and horizontal scientific research projects 1, and won the second prize of scientific and technological achievements of the Ministry of Land and Resources 1, the third prize of scientific and technological achievements of the Ministry of Geology and Mineral Resources1,and 2 fourth prizes. More than 40 papers have been published in domestic and foreign journals (or conferences), including 5 SCI, 8 EI and 2 ISTP. He published two monographs: Logging Evaluation Technology of Low Resistivity Oil and Gas Reservoir in Tabei, Xinjiang, and Geophysical Logging of Main Hole of Chinese mainland Scientific Drilling (0-2000). His main research interests are geophysical logging data interpretation, data processing and information technology.
