Easily define core concepts
This paper introduces two ways to define the core concepts in the research of basic education projects in primary and secondary schools through examples. These two methods are simple and easy to use, and are suitable for primary and secondary school teachers who are beginners to do projects.

First, what is the definition of the core concept?

Concept: "probability" limits things so that they do not exceed the scope. I've been thinking about something In the process of human cognition, from perceptual knowledge to rational knowledge, it is a manifestation of my cognitive consciousness to abstract and summarize the essential characteristics of perceptual things, forming conceptual thinking inertia. In subject research, it refers to the connotation and extension of keywords in subject names.

Core concept: center, main concept. There are many concepts in project research, and the important concept to be studied is the core concept, which usually refers to the keywords in the project name.

Definition: Delineate the boundary and determine the scope.

Definition of the core concept: in the research of the subject, it refers to defining the connotation, extension, boundary and research scope of the key words to be studied.

Second, the commonly used formulas for defining core concepts

Methods Formula: Key words definition+extension+application method and scope in this topic.

For example, in the topic "Research on Improving Students' Writing Ability through Deep Reading of Typical Articles", we define "typical articles" as a core concept.

Typical articles: refer to representative articles (keyword definitions) with high learning value. In addition to Chinese and foreign masterpieces, it can also refer to articles with exemplary significance in structure and content. They can deepen students' thoughts, arouse noble feelings, expand their thinking, and produce beautiful imagination and rich associations. The selection and determination of typical articles require teachers to read and screen a lot in combination with their years of teaching experience, which varies according to the development stage of the educated. The selected model essay should conform to the students' cognitive level, psychological foundation and life experience, but it should be higher than the students' level, so that students can contact and learn, thus stimulating interest. Some articles are profound in thought, novel in angle, profound in level, changeable and stirring. Some articles are like pictures of concrete life in front of readers, and even make readers feel that they have seen their own breathing and heard their own heartbeat. Articles with different characteristics are suitable for different students. In the end, teachers need to guide students to delve into articles and dig out real money for writing. This job is the foundation, and their success means smooth work in the future. (Applicable methods, scope, etc. In this topic)

Third, the thinking process of defining the core concept of "topic white"

Thinking process: from several core concepts put forward by the topic, by looking for reference books or collecting concepts put forward by others, the word explanation is refined and directly defined as your own concept.

Advantages: quick definition, basically correct.

Disadvantages: this definition method is difficult to accurately determine the research objectives of the topic. Every scientific research project in primary and secondary schools is completed by different researchers based on different school conditions. The realistic conditions and foundations of the research are different. The explanation of concepts in dictionaries, or other people's views and opinions on concepts, if not directly dealt with, may be inconsistent with the research scope and objectives expected by researchers.

Correction method: Combining with our own practical work and the basic education and teaching problems we have studied, we scientifically sort out and judge the previous discussions and research results in the literature, then refine the core concept of the topic, and constantly improve the definition of the core concept through two-way interaction with the content and objectives of the topic.

Four, two simple ways to define the core concepts

1, epitaxial decline method

Find the key words from the topic and define them layer by layer.

For example, from the topic "Study on Reading Practice in Primary and Secondary Schools in Henan Province", we can find three phrases as the core concepts to be determined, and the relationship between these three keywords is progressive step by step.

The researchers defined these three concepts as follows:

Reading: Reading is an information input activity, that is, a complex psychological process of reading subject's cognition, understanding, absorption and application of reading materials.

Group reading: refers to the process of selecting a group of articles around one or more topics, then teachers and students start reading and collective construction around the topics, and finally reach * * * knowledge.

Group reading practice: around the actual participants in the group reading practice, find out the situation and problems in the group reading operation, and refine the viewpoints or theories and related strategies to explain group reading, so as to guide educational research practice and solve practical problems in reading teaching.

This way of putting forward the core concepts step by step has been adopted by many researchers of basic education teaching topics. Practice has proved that it is a good method to simplify and define the core concepts.

2. Connotation analysis method

By defining the connotation of the keywords found in this study.

For example, in the project "Action Research on Language Ability Training Strategies in the Critical Period of Children's Language Acquisition", the researchers identified two core concepts, namely "Critical Period of Children's Language Acquisition" and "Language Ability", and defined the time node for the core concept "Critical Period of Children's Language Acquisition", and determined which time beam is the golden period and critical period of children's language learning, and found the theoretical basis by combining with literature retrieval. The definition of "language ability" is mainly to clarify what children's language ability includes, such as language organization ability, language expression ability, language learning ability and so on. All the core concepts are completely defined, and the research will be clear after the subject is determined. There are three ways to develop children's language, namely, developing language ability in kindergarten classroom, developing language ability in kindergarten extracurricular activities and developing language ability in social relations. Therefore, the research of this topic is determined as three parts, namely classroom strategy, activity strategy and social strategy.

The definition methods of core concepts in the above two basic education research projects in primary and secondary schools are for your reference only. If there is anything wrong, please criticize and correct me.
