Remember the books you read and the people who studied together in those years.
, text
I want to sort out my reading history by the classification of books, which can be roughly divided into religion, philosophy, history, psychology, literature, education, life, English and so on. I choose books, people and videos that are particularly impressive and have a great influence on me as records. Many times, I remember not only books, but also people who studied together in those years.
I. Religion
1, Bible
The Bible is the most widely distributed book in the world. Up to now, it has been translated into 1829 languages, with an annual sales volume of about 30 million copies. The Bible has 66 volumes, which are divided into the Old Testament and the New Testament. The Bible came into my life in 2006, when I was a graduate student in philosophy. Sister Peng Fen took me to believe in God just now. I haven't stopped reading the Bible since 14. This is a book that has changed my life in all aspects. The Bible is not a literary work in the general sense, but the word of God, a lamp under my feet and a light on the road.
2. Principles of religious research
This is a course for graduate students. At that time, there were students studying Tibetan Buddhism, and there was a female mage in Taiwan Province Province who was also a student. I have a respect for religion and have always wanted to explore it. This course brings me closer to Buddhism. At that time, there were several students studying Buddhism, and two female magicians were the abbots of a temple in Taiwan Province Province. I also visited her teacher with my classmates-the 94-year-old monk has a famous Dojo around Beijing. I like my classmates very much. Her name is Yao Li. She said that she once listened to a Buddhist lecture at Peking University and suddenly felt that this was what she wanted. Since then, she has converted to Buddhism and studied Buddhism, and her life has changed a lot within one year. I was attracted by this, but after all, it was God who attracted me, not Sakyamuni.
3. The burden and grace of Simone Weil.
Wei Yi was an outstanding French religious thinker in the 20th century. This book is a compilation of manuscripts and conversations. This book is comparable to Fromm's Escape from Freedom.
4. The Biography of Mother Teresa
She died with only a pair of shoes and three clothes. She lived for love and served God and the poor all her life.
? Second, philosophy.
1, a philosophy book without a name.
Near the college entrance examination, I live in the home of a middle school teacher. There are many books in the small bedroom, including a philosophy book that is not very thick, which aroused my interest. I was impressed by Schopenhauer's works, but I can't remember the specific title. A book about life touched me, but I didn't expect to become attached to philosophy later.
2. History of China's Philosophy
I majored in history in Xiangtan University, and the school of philosophy, history and culture in Xiangtan University is well established. The history department and philosophy department were taught together in the first year of undergraduate course, so as a student of history department, I also studied the history of China's philosophy together. I prefer philosophy to history. Maybe I'm born to think deeply, which makes people think I'm a little serious and boring. Mr. Wang Lixin, who especially likes to talk about China's philosophy. Later, he went to Shenzhen University. At that time, he was often dragged by students to discuss problems on the road. I still remember that under a tree outside the wall of Beiyuan boys' dormitory, he told us about Mencius' lofty spirit. Reading "University" in class, "The way of university is to be well-known, be close to the people and stop at perfection." I am fascinated by reading Zhuangzi and Zhu Cheng's Neo-Confucianism.
3. History of Western Philosophy
Freshman also has a course on the history of western philosophy, which I like very much. What the teacher said about Athens in ancient Greece and philosophers exploring the roots of the world made my little brain seem to open a new world. At that time, I went to the library and bookstore of Hunan University to read the most philosophical books. I don't remember what I read, including Laozi, Zhuangzi, Schopenhauer and Nietzsche. So I am familiar with my brothers in the philosophy department, because there are four gifted scholars in senior three, and I am attracted by them. With my passion, I founded the Philosophy and Life Association of Xiangtan University, and we also did some interesting things, one was "commemorating Haizi" and the other was enjoying the movie Forrest Gump. I also heard from my seniors, and I have always been attracted by philosophy. Finally, when I took the postgraduate entrance examination, I transferred to the philosophy department.
4. Selected readings of the original works of western philosophy
I began to study philosophy seriously in the philosophy department of the graduate school of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. I am really lucky to be admitted to this school, because the enrollment of this school is that one teacher basically only recruits one student, and the enrollment quota is very small, so I am very close to the teacher. My tutor is Huang Yusheng, who later went to the Philosophy Department of Tsinghua University. In retrospect, the academic character and personality of teachers have the greatest influence on me. Teachers said that when Mr. Lin He was in the philosophy department, he never invited students to dinner, so when I went back to see my teacher during my graduate school or even the first year or two after work, my teacher invited me to dinner. For these, I deeply remember in my heart. My teacher is a pure scholar.
Because one teacher only takes one or two students, sometimes several teachers will take several students to class together, so I have the honor to listen to many famous scholars' classes. Selected Readings of the Original Works in the History of Western Philosophy was taught by Dikun Xie, and I followed the teacher to read all the original works in the history of western philosophy, because the translation may be inaccurate. At that time, reading was basically compared with the original English. Teachers know German, and I have learned a little German, so I can only read English. There are many original foreign language documents in the library of China Academy of Social Sciences, and the graduate school also has its own library. Both libraries have benefited me a lot.
5. Kant's criticism of pure reason, practical reason and practical anthropology.
Studying foreign philosophy can't bypass Kant, and reading Kant's original works is a compulsory course. Critique of Pure Reason is difficult to read. At that time, several teachers, doctoral students and graduate students in the philosophy department were sitting in a conference room, eating the original work together and reading a small page or even a short paragraph every afternoon. Everyone is Chinese to English, Chinese to German, reading and discussing. I haven't finished reading a book for three years, and this way of reading is particularly impressive. The teacher also taught the experience of learning a foreign language. The stupidest and slowest way is to read the original text and look up the words while reading. He said that the seemingly slowest way is actually the fastest. I like Kant's famous words best. Deng Xiaomang translated: "There are two things. The more people constantly and persistently think about them, the more they fill their hearts with ever-changing and increasing surprises and awe: the starry sky above me and the moral law in my heart. " (People's Publishing House, 2003)
6. Selected Works of Tillich
Paul tillich is a famous theologian and philosopher in the 20th century. My graduation thesis is about his thoughts. The title of my thesis is Being and Courage. I like his works very much. I read them in Chinese and English. He is a theologian with wide boundaries. His works not only inspired my knowledge, but also had a great influence on my beliefs.
Third, history.
1, general history of China
2. General history of the world
These two courses are compulsory courses of history department, which are divided into ancient history, modern history and contemporary history. Because my tutor Zhao is in the direction of world history, my interest is also biased towards world history, especially the history of the Middle Ages and Renaissance, which laid the foundation for my later postgraduate study and helped me understand the far-reaching influence of medieval Christianity on the development of modern natural science, which is also very helpful for me to understand the influence of Christian belief on the world. My tutor is a woman, the most elegant female scholar I have ever seen.
The Department of History also offers many courses, such as ancient Chinese, an introduction to archaeology, the history of Chinese historiography and selected readings of original works, the cultural history of China, philology, historical geography, and the comparison between Chinese and Western cultures. I still remember the teachers in these courses.
3. Rousseau's fantasy of a lonely stroller
At that time, I liked a book very much, with notes on every page.
4. Huang Renyu's Great History of China and the Fifteen Years of Wanli.
At that time, all the students liked reading his books.

2. Fromm's escape from freedom
3. Freud's interpretation of dreams
4. Psychology and life
5. Rudolph's Children, Challenge, which is a must-read book for parents.
6. Walking into the Magic Shop is an autobiographical novel by a brain surgeon, and the meditation mentioned in it is very thought-provoking.
I like philosophy and psychology very much. There are psychology courses for undergraduates. From undergraduate to graduate, until many years after graduation, I have the impulse to become a psychological counselor. I once wanted to be a counselor. I pay more attention to patients with depression and help my friends around me, but being a professional psychological counselor still needs strong psychological endurance. However, reading some psychological books is of great benefit to parenting.
Verb (short for verb) literature
1, the earliest enlightenment was to copy the songbook by hand. Big sisters copied some songs and ballads, and a group of children sang them together, which we especially liked.

3. Jane Eyre
This is a favorite book in junior high school. Read it many times, and the books are turned over. Every time I ask my mother to take it before going to bed, my mother says I have watched it many times. In the world of literature, this is my book of enlightenment. Favorite paragraph: "Do you think that because I am poor, humble, unattractive and short, I have no soul and no heart?" You think wrong! My soul is the same as yours, my heart is the same as yours! If God endows me with wealth and beauty, I will make it as hard for you to leave me as it is for me to leave you now. God didn't do this, our souls are equal, just like the two of us walked through the grave and stood at God's feet, equal to each other-that's it! "

7. Longing for life-Biography of Van Gogh
I read this book in a rented bookstore when I was in college. In those days, online shopping was not as developed as it is now, and there was no new book bookstore, so I bought the old one. Van Gogh was very moved.
8. The Complete Works of Sanmao
From the beginning of college, I will still read it after a while, and the story inside is particularly familiar. I like San Mao's casualness very much. She has her own personality and compassion at the same time. Unfortunately, that beautiful woman has passed away.
7. A Dream of Red Mansions
When I was a graduate student, I was fascinated by A Dream of Red Mansions for a while and read it several times. The students in the Chinese department said, I dare not read all the time. It's so sad! The law student said that her tutor regarded this book as a bedside book and turned it over every day. This is also a set of books that San Mao likes very much.

12, Song Juzhi's My Picture Book Theory

A book I liked very much in college shows that I am still childlike. I watched it again last year.
Education of intransitive verbs
1, "Principles of Pedagogy" This is an elective course in the university, and it is also a compulsory course for the teacher qualification certificate later. When I graduated from graduate school, I chose to be a teacher or an editor. Finally, I didn't expect to go to the museum to be a website editor. Now I quit my job and want to be a teacher.
The power of 2.6A
This book is being trained as a lecturer by an organization called the Foundation. I have participated in training as a parent and benefited a lot.

Training children's hearts is far more important than others. Because the Bible says, "Keep your heart above all else, because the fruit of life comes from your heart."
4. "How to say that children will listen, how to listen to children will be willing to say."
This book teaches many skills.
5. Cai Yingqing's four books on educational aesthetics, Education in the Details of Life, Diary of Children's Work, Mom is the Forever Teacher, and Steady Mom has Power.
I like the first book in this series very much. I have read it several times, and I like the dialogue between Tsai Ing-Wen and Hong Lan. I find it enlightening to many problems encountered in education. I also like her educational philosophy, which is interpreted in the details of life.
Seven, life
1, detach
Because I worked in the museum for 9 years, I sorted out my family files. I am also very interested in home decoration, like minimalism, and deeply influenced by these ideas. Breaking up is a book that has a great influence on me. So my home is always clean and tidy, and there are almost no extra items wherever my eyes go. I also cleaned up a lot of extra clothes, so I don't have to be busy when I change seasons, so I can save more time to do other things.
2. Minimum program
3. The true meaning of simple life
Eight, English

We didn't start English classes until the first grade of primary school, but I'm glad my parents supported me to go to Ying Da for a foreign language summer school. I have always loved English since then. This textbook is my first English book.
2. Crazy English
Li Yang's crazy English is all the rage. He is the leader of English teaching in 1990s. He himself gave a speech in our school. I like English songs and essays in Crazy English very much, which makes me really feel the beauty of English.
English songs such as Carpenter and Backstreet Boys not only helped me learn English, but also enriched my spiritual world.
4. New Concept English, a classic textbook, has been heard many times.
5, all over the United States, classic textbooks and videos.
6. Gai Zhaoquan's "Being the Best English Planner for Children"
A great set of books points out a bright road for family enlightenment and original reading. My daughter brought her own English enlightenment and study, so she is also very interested in English education books.
7. Creative teaching of English picture books in Zhang Xiangjun
I take my children to read picture books and act them out, which is quite interesting.
I like a sentence from Grandma Cai Hao: "Reading is drifting away". After reading Tao Yuanming, I probably just want to see what the poets in the Jin Dynasty wrote. After reading Song Juzhi, I want to see all the good picture books he introduced. Reading needs silence. I hope I can read quietly with my children line by line, book by book.
