Interpretation of related terms in construction engineering;
1. span: refers to the distance between adjacent longitudinal positioning axes marked according to the design drawings.
2. Eaves height: refers to the vertical distance from the designed outdoor terrace elevation to the dripping eaves.
3. Area: refers to the unit project construction area calculated according to the construction area calculation rules.
4. Number of floors: refers to the number of floors of the building (excluding the basement). Building floors and roof water tank rooms, stairwells and elevator machine rooms that do not calculate the construction area are not counted.
5. Public buildings: refer to hospitals, hotels, complex buildings, office buildings, teaching buildings, terminal buildings, stations, passenger transport buildings and other buildings serving the public.
6. Special buildings: refer to theaters, stadiums, libraries, museums, art galleries, exhibition halls and other buildings serving the public.
