Chengdu Textile College is a public full-time college organized by the Sichuan Provincial Government and directly under the Sichuan Provincial Department of Education. Its predecessor was the National Central Institute of Technology founded by 1939. Now it is a national model (backbone) vocational college, a national high-quality vocational college and a national "double high plan" construction unit.
The school is the national excellent traditional Chinese cultural heritage base in colleges and universities, the executive body of China's intangible cultural heritage inheritor training plan, the pilot unit of modern apprenticeship in the Ministry of Education, the construction institution of the "Smart Clothing Training Base" project in the 13th Five-Year Plan of the National Development and Reform Commission, and the national textile and garment high-skilled personnel training base.
The first batch of demonstration higher vocational colleges in Sichuan Province, the demonstration colleges for deepening innovation and entrepreneurship education reform in Sichuan Province, the pilot colleges for training and reform of vocational education talents at undergraduate level in Sichuan Province, and the post-doctoral innovation practice base in Sichuan Province.
The school is located in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, covering an area of 1 153 mu, with Xipu Campus (6 13 mu) and Qionglai Production and Education Park (540 mu). Xipu Campus is located in xipu town, Pidu District, Chengdu, in the northern section of Chengdu Fourth Ring Road (Ring Expressway), and Chengdu-Dongguan High-speed Railway and Chengdu Metro Line 2 are directly connected. Qionglai Production Education Park is located in the planning area of Qionglai High-speed Railway New Town.
Adjacent to Tianxinqiong Expressway and Chengpu High-speed Railway Qionglai Station. The total assets of the school are 11.1.500 million yuan, the building area of the library is 2 1.000 square meters, there are 2,500 reading seats, more than 880,000 printed documents, 248 kinds of current publications, 8 kinds of newspapers1,and more than 490,000 e-books.
