With the attention and concern of Haining Municipal Party Committee, municipal government and superior departments, and with the strong support of all walks of life, the first phase of school reconstruction and expansion project with an investment of nearly 30 million yuan was successfully completed and put into use in September 2003. The school covers an area of 1 15 mu, with a building area of about 27,000 square meters. There are three teaching buildings, one administrative building, three boys' apartments and two girls' apartments. One canteen building is a provincial A-level canteen with 1 400m standard track and field,1indoor basketball hall and experiment. In addition, there are audio-visual education hall, library, language lab, computer room, music room, art room and technical room. The school has complete teaching facilities and is among the best in Jiaxing.

The school is surrounded by water on three sides and faces the street on the other. Elegant environment and wide green area. There are also cultural relics in the school, such as Yangshan Academy in Wenbao, Haining City, and the portrait of Han Tomb in Wenbao, the province, which has a strong humanistic atmosphere and is a good place to study, seek knowledge and cultivate one's morality. There are 38 high school classes in our school, with students 1.908 and faculty 1.49, including full-time teachers 1.28.
