Guilin University of Technology is an institution of higher learning founded by the central and local governments. It has successively been selected into the national "Basic Capacity Building Project of Central and Western Universities", the "Excellent Engineer Education and Training Plan" of the Ministry of Education, the "Hundred Schools Project", the national plan to build high-level university graduate students, the national college students' cultural quality education base, the national new engineering research and practice project, the national first-class undergraduate professional construction site, and the national demonstration university to deepen the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education.
