Changji city No.7 Middle School is the former Huayang Foreign Language School. Huayang Foreign Language School, a private education school in changji city, was officially taken over by the changji city Municipal People's Government. The school will be renamed changji city No.7 Middle School, while retaining the name of Huayang Foreign Language School.

The specific location is in Wugong Road, south of Changji.

According to relevant personnel, after the school is handed over, the municipal government wants to use this school as a test field for integrating urban and rural educational resources in changji city, and plans to integrate primary and secondary schools in Sangong Town, Liugong Town, Erliugong Town and Yushugou Town of changji city this year. Teachers and students of primary and secondary schools in four towns will enter the school and rely on the first-class facilities of the school to improve the development level of basic education in changji city.

Huayang Foreign Language School, established in August 2003, is a modern private school with boarding system and daily management. The north-south teaching building of the school can accommodate 3600 students and 2500 students.

After the school was established, there were only a few hundred students in the school because of the charging standards and other issues. Later, with the implementation of the policy of two exemptions and one subsidy in public schools, the school was in a state of loss because of insufficient enrollment.

In February 2007, senior high school students transferred to changji city Foreign Language School (changji city No.1 Middle School), junior high school students transferred to changji city No.4 Middle School, and primary school students transferred to changji city No.8 Primary School. Before the government took over, the school had only 26 students and 5 teachers.
