Brief introduction of Xia Central Library
Seattle Central Library is the flagship library of Seattle public library system. It is located in the center of the city. This is a building made of 1 1 floor (56 meters high) glass and steel. The museum was opened to the public on May 24th, 2004. The library is designed by Rem Koolhaas, and Hoffman Construction Company in Portland is the general contractor. This 34,000-square-meter public library has about 6.5438+0.45 million books and other materials, including more than 400 computers open to the public and an underground public parking lot. Before 1 year, the utilization rate exceeded 2 million people. The library has a unique and outstanding appearance, which constitutes many discrete "floating platforms", just like in a Okumo net.
