The library of Huazhong Normal University is open to the public for forums and reading activities, but the public cannot apply for documents to enter the library to read books.

Both Huazhong University of Science and Technology and Wuhan University Library have a history of opening to the society in different forms, but now for various reasons, they all choose to "serve the teachers and students at school".

Now Jianghan University, Hubei University, Huazhong Agricultural University, Wuhan University of Technology and Wuhan University of Science and Technology Library are open to the public.
