There is a standard 400-meter runway and a plastic playground on campus. The school is equipped with campus network system, two-way closed-circuit television system and eagle intelligent broadcasting system. Each class is equipped with three computers, one scene and one cabinet, connected to broadband network. Complete hardware facilities have played the overall function of school education.
The school has a team of teachers with excellent quality, reasonable structure and excellent business. At present, there are 2 provincial teaching rookies, 2 provincial teaching reform stars, 4 provincial Putonghua testers, 6 provincial famous teachers and principals, 5 municipal teaching rookies, 5 city famous teachers, 25 county-level teaching rookies, 2 senior middle school teachers, 50 primary school teachers and 8 undergraduate students. In the past three years, more than 300 educational and teaching papers written by more than 60 teachers have won prizes in the whole country, provinces, cities and counties, or have been published in relevant publications and books. Thirty-eight educational and scientific research projects have been established at the national, provincial, municipal and county levels and achieved results. Provincial Education Information Newspaper, Wenzhou Evening News, Wenzhou Education, Yongjia Newspaper, Yongjia TV Station and Yongjia Education all published school-running features in special editions.
The school has been identified as a national four-in-one experimental school, a member school of moral education research in the southeast coast of China, and a member unit of the research-based learning sub-project of China Education Association.
Over the years, the school has adhered to quality education, continuously broadened the channels for running schools, deepened the teaching reform, optimized the educational environment, realized the educational purpose of comprehensive training and highlighting characteristics, and carried out campus cultural activities with rich contents such as art festivals, sports festivals and science and technology festivals, and trained a large number of top talents. Students' calligraphy and painting, dance, composition, track and field have won many national and provincial awards, and students have had calligraphy exchanges with Japanese primary school students twice. The school has made remarkable achievements in its work, and has won dozens of collective honors, such as the National Young Eagle Red Flag Brigade, the provincial advanced collective of education and scientific research, audio-visual education, family education, the municipal demonstration experimental primary school, the municipal civilized school, the municipal red scarf demonstration school, and the top ten reporter station of Wenzhou Evening News.
In order to improve the quality of running a school, the new curriculum was fully implemented in the autumn of 2003, and small classes were implemented. To this end, the school has made full preparations for this work. Distribute and organize the study of Interpretation of Chinese New Curriculum Standard and Interpretation of Mathematics New Curriculum Standard to all teachers, and organize all teachers to study abroad. All first-year teachers will receive training before taking up their posts.
