Known as the "old campus", Suiyuan Campus of Nanjing Normal University is located on the famous Xuefu Road. It is a national key cultural relics protection unit and has the reputation of "the most beautiful campus in the East".

The campus is a garden commensurate with the ancient capital of Jiangnan, with uniform cornices, cliff-like classical buildings and exquisite bridges and flowing water.

There are two public libraries in Suiyuan of Nanjing Normal University, namely Xishan Library and Huaxia Library. There is also a special library of the Academy of Educational Sciences.
