Tongzhou No.2 Middle School is the first batch of complete middle schools in Beijing. Formerly known as Tongzhou Women's Mongolian Pavilion, it was built in 1904 and was rebuilt by Foucault, an overseas missionary of American Christian Church, on the basis of Taoism.

1905 The school was named Fuyu Girls' School. Famous alumni include Li Dequan and Yang Chongrui. 1927 The school was renamed as a private affluent girls' high school. 1951July, was ordered by the government to take over Hebei Province and renamed Litong County Girls' Junior High School in Hebei Province. Starting from 1959, boys are accepted. 1960 was renamed Beijing Tongxian No.2 Middle School. High school is added in 1974.

Beijing Tongzhou No.2 Middle School is located at No.28 Daiyuhe West Street, Tongzhou Town. Its predecessor was Anshi Daoism founded by the Christian Church in 1904. 1926 was changed to Fuyu girls' school, and 1960 was co-educational. 1974 increased the number of high school classes and became a complete middle school.

Since 1960, it has been co-educational, and 1974 added a high school class to become a complete middle school.
