Can reading change your destiny?
Talking about personal experience may be different from what you think, but I hope it can help you.

Reading can't change fate. Only when you intend to change it and take action can your destiny begin to change.

I have been squatting in the school library for the last year and a half after graduating from college. I have probably read more than 300 books, but now I can't remember exactly what book I read.

I studied in an independent college, or even three colleges. My study environment was poor and my personal self-control was poor, so my study was poor. I took the CET-4 test six times.

Why is it so bad? Personally, I think it's because the dormitory environment is very poor. I am a very impressionable person.

When I was a junior, I was still in the dormitory Internet cafe. After class, I always go back to the dormitory, turn on the computer to play League of Legends, and wait left and right in the dormitory next door.

When I was a junior in the next semester, I felt a deep sense of crisis I am about to graduate. Level 4 hasn't passed yet. If you still can't pass the exam, you won't get an undergraduate degree certificate after graduation.

So I put down the game and went to the library every day. At first, even the people in the library were unwilling to do English papers.

Even if I don't do a paper, I'm not allowed to go back to play games, so listen to music and read books.

After grinding for a month, I can sit down every day and I won't be on pins and needles without playing games. Occasionally, I will listen to English listening and do papers, and my state will begin to improve a lot.

Reading is sometimes a boring thing. You may not be interested in holding a book at hand, but you are still willing to turn it over, because it is a paper book, which is why I think paper books are better than e-books and e-books can't be replaced. There are more professional books, and people who use e-books can't read them at all.

This state lasted about three months, and one day it suddenly occurred to me that I should try to write something, because writing is really not too difficult for me because of my writing background.

This is the starting point of my future writing, that is, from then on, in the next five years, I developed the habit of writing, quit games and developed reading and writing.

So, has reading changed my life? In my opinion, it has really changed. If you continue to play League of Legends like most people in your junior year, you may not even get an undergraduate diploma, and you will not be able to enter a listed company after graduation.

However, in the eyes of most people, I will think that writing has changed my personal life track and made me lose my way. I would have thought so then.

It was not until I entered the workplace two years later that I changed my original view: neither reading nor writing changed me, but the change itself changed my life track.

This sentence may be difficult to understand, but I can tell a story after graduation:

When I graduated from senior three, I went to some one or two schools to recruit students and kept sending resumes, hoping to get some opportunities. Because I have heard many seniors say that good enterprises will never come to our school. If they want to find a way or have resources and background at home, they don't have to worry about employment.

In fact, after I arrived at the company, I felt very uncomfortable. The newly graduated children are a little bookish and have no social experience, but the position I do really needs social experience and market expansion.

As you can imagine, it ended badly. After working in this position for almost half a year, I was successfully eliminated. The teacher who took me thought I was unqualified and gave me the worst grades for three months in a row. The salary I get is not even enough for housing and food. In fact, a good market development major has a guaranteed salary of 8k, and my performance is better. I can get 20 thousand to 30 thousand

However, I learned a lot in the first half of my post. After a series of pains, I suddenly grew up.

Next, either leave your job or accept personnel transfer to be a clerk.

However, in the past six months of market expansion, I have learned one thing: you must fight for something yourself and learn to change yourself.

I browsed all the internal competitions that month and asked my colleagues in the company to help me find out where there was a shortage of people. In that long week, I found two or three human resources BP to help coordinate the transfer, and finally transferred to the engineering department.

Because I worked in the front-end market for half a year, I had a good trip in the engineering post. Later, I stayed in this company for three years.

Reading can't change fate. Only when you intend to change it and take action can your destiny begin to change.
