After the development of coking enterprises, he was not intoxicated with the impressive performance, but worried about the pollution caused by coking. To this end, he is determined to start from the source and devote himself to the transformation of environmentally friendly and clean coke ovens. In order to realize cleaner production and form a resource-saving and environment-friendly enterprise, Sanjia Company established the scientific and technological route of cleaner production through the investigation of western countries. Yan personally took the lead as the leader of the technical research team. After eight years of continuous exploration, test and improvement, he independently developed SJ-96 clean coke oven in 1996. This furnace type has the advantages of less investment, quick effect, high environmental protection quality, low water consumption, good coke quality, wide adaptability of coal types and remarkable economic benefits, and its products are favored by the international coke market. 1999 was well received at the 58th World Ironmaking Conference held in Chicago, USA. It is said that China people have accomplished feats that westerners have never accomplished. Experts said that if Sanjia technology brand and Sanjiawei product brand are combined into one, its market value should be more than 6 billion yuan. In August 2002, his "SJ-96 Production Technology" was listed as "Shanxi Clean Heat Recovery Demonstration Project" by Shanxi Environmental Protection Bureau and Shanxi Science and Technology Department.
On February 5th, 2005, organized by the State Environmental Protection Administration, a well-known domestic expert group headed by Qu, director of the Environmental Protection Committee of the National People's Congress, and headed by Li and Ren, academicians of China Academy of Engineering, appraised the upgraded "SJ-96 Clean Heat Recovery Cogeneration Coking Production Technology" of Sanjia Company. The conclusion is that the production technology has unique conception, reasonable process configuration and good economic, environmental and social benefits. Compared with domestic similar production technology, it is at the international advanced level. This technology conforms to the national conditions of China and is suitable for popularization and application.
"SJ-96 Production Technology" passed the examination and approval of Shanxi Provincial Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision for the record, and issued the first national technical standard for coking furnace enterprises "Q/140-000SJ-001-2004". In 2005, the Science and Technology Department of Shanxi Province formulated the Technical Specification for Clean Heat Recovery Coking in Shanxi Province, which was officially released to the whole province.
During this period, he vigorously strengthened comprehensive management, promoted clean production in the whole process, built garden-style enterprises, and took the lead in achieving environmental governance standards among township enterprises in the province, and was rated as the national advanced environmental protection enterprise. He himself was selected as "100 Best Shanxi Merchants in the World". He said: "environmental protection must start from itself, but it cannot be satisfied with the governance of an enterprise." In order to "return the sky to blue and the land to green" for his hometown elders, he made up his mind to transform and develop and turned his attention to the green tourism industry.

After several investigations and comparisons, he chose Mianshan, a local scenic spot, as the direction of production adjustment. However, Mianshan was repeatedly robbed (the most serious one was that the Japanese invaders burned the cultural relics of Mianshan twice in 1940 and 1942 in order to destroy Jiexiu's anti-Japanese government), which made this famous historical and cultural mountain once crowded with tourists silent for more than half a century. In addition, there is no precedent for individuals to invest in the development of provincial scenic spots in China. Although Jiexiu has the strong support of the municipal government, how to implement it is always a difficult problem to be solved in his heart. Faced with these, he clearly realized that it is not enough to be satisfied with the investigation and understanding of resources, and only the enthusiasm for development and construction is not enough, and there is no certain cultural literacy. To this end, he made up his mind to calm down and study. Although Yan has only been in school for a few years, he likes to buy books and read books. From the principles and policies of the party and the state to the planning of scenic spots and related materials; From Mianshan's human history to stories and legends; From Buddhist classics to ancient architecture sculpture knowledge, I can't put it down when I hold it. In addition to studying culture, history, ancient architecture and sculpture technology, I also studied environmental law, resource law, forest law, cultural relics protection law and other policies and laws closely related to the scenic spot, and had a clear understanding of the history and present situation of Mianshan, and mastered the legal basis and technical regulations for development.
During this period, he devoted himself to the implementation of the development and construction plan. First, mobilize 1500 people to enter Mianshan as planned, set up camp and organize construction. He takes the lead by himself, goes to the most dangerous place first when encountering difficulties, and goes up the mountain for more than 20 days every month. In the development, he always insists on the close combination of culture and scenic spots, and builds the brand of scenic spots with culture. Under his auspices, he hired a group of cultural figures who are well-known and influential in the society, and established the Mianshan Cultural Research Institute to conduct in-depth excavation, collation and research on Mianshan ancient culture. Jiezhitui Exhibition Hall, Cold Food Culture Exhibition Hall, Jiexiu Sanxian (Jiezhitui, Guo Tai and Wen Yanbo) Exhibition Hall, Jiexiu Celebrity Kwamianshan Exhibition Hall, Jiexiu Celebrity Sacrifice Exhibition Hall, Religious History and Culture Exhibition Hall, Jiexiu Shanxi Merchants Sanjie Exhibition Hall (Fan Yuqiao, Hou Yinchang and Ji Yihe in Ming and Qing Dynasties), Jiexiu Anti-Japanese Democratic Government Memorial Hall and Jiexiu Anti-Japanese Government Former Site Exhibition Hall have been opened successively. Libraries, art galleries and cultural performance teams have also been established, fully demonstrating the profound historical details of Mianshan culture. Especially, great achievements have been made in tracing back and studying the relationship between direct deduction and cold food Tomb-Sweeping Day. This paper reveals the rich connotation of Mianshan culture from many aspects, such as historical classics, remains of historical sites, records of ancient monuments, ancient poems and operas, customs and habits of drifting with the flow, and food inheritance.
