Digital campus is one of the three themes of educational informatization in China, and it is also an important means to improve the management level and comprehensive competitiveness of domestic universities. By collecting and investigating domestic literature about digital campus construction, this paper summarizes the background, concept, connotation and characteristics of digital campus proposed by relevant scholars, expounds the objectives and contents of digital campus construction in combination with the development of digital campus construction in Guangxi Normal University, and briefly describes the existing problems and solutions in digital campus construction at present, with a view to having a general understanding of digital campus construction.

1 Introduction
