This book is a colorful atlas of motor windings, mainly with pictures and illustrations. It is composed of the new second edition Atlas of Motor Winding Wiring and Wiring Colors, the supplement of the new second edition Atlas of Motor Winding Wiring and Wiring Colors, and the newly added winding legend. There are 843 windings in the book, including 93 new windings. In addition, the original double-layer winding in this book is redrawn by Pan Shi's improved drawing method, and the old example is replaced by a new drawing 180. Due to the large space, it is divided into two volumes. The first volume consists of six chapters and 26 sections, including three-phase single-layer winding, three-phase double-layer winding, three-phase single-layer double-layer winding, three-phase AC (rotor) wave winding, single-phase series motor armature winding and DC motor armature winding, with a total of 428 windings, and the rest will be included in the second volume of the atlas.

The wiring diagram of the motor winding adopts the drawing method close to the real end face of the stator winding, and is matched with phase color lines, so that the wiring level, wiring connection, coil group composition and phase difference of the winding are clear and eye-catching. In addition, each case not only gives a comprehensive introduction to the structural characteristics of the winding and the general rules of embedding in each chapter, but also describes the parameters, embedding points, characteristics and applications of the winding in words.
