China has a tradition of attaching importance to reading, which is an eternal topic. Reading has a strong sense of the times, different times have different reading, influenced by political, economic, educational and other social factors at that time. I am very happy to be able to carry out my summer social practice activities in Xinhua Bookstore this summer, which is a precious opportunity for me.

During my internship in the library, I learned a lot and got happiness from practical activities. At the same time, I feel the lack of knowledge. In the days to come, I will continue to study harder, learn professional knowledge well, develop myself in an all-round way, acquire knowledge in practice and seek development. In the days to come, inevitably, I will face more problems, take on more responsibilities, become more mature and really step into the society. And this social practice is my first step towards society. In these two short weeks, I really learned a lot of things that I haven't seen in school and books, such as treating people. Contact with people who have worked here will bring you different feelings. In words and actions, there are people who care about you, people who don't care about you, and people who don't like you. It depends on how you grasp it. In this practice, what I feel most is the shopping guide. Shopping guide is a very important part of the clerk's work. The learning effect before book variety is reflected in the process of shopping guide. At the same time, in this process, the clerk will directly face the customers, and the words and deeds of the clerk will represent the image of the bookstore, so I also learned how to face the customers as a clerk. My field of responsibility is the acquisition of cultural and educational books. In the process of shopping guide, some customers will have many questions. They want to know from the clerk what kind of books are better and more suitable for them (or their children). When I first started shopping, I was not confident. The greater the expectations of customers, the greater the responsibility, and the greater the pressure I feel. With the increase of the number of shopping guides, the further understanding of book products gradually became natural and went in. Although there is no way to answer customers' questions, we have to seek the help of "old people", but I think it is very meaningful. In addition, carrying books and sticking magnetic strips in bookstores are two "arduous" tasks. Carrying books to the designated place is also a manual work in the bookstore, ranging from five or six to hundreds of goods, which is the task of every staff member. Sticking the magnetic stripe requires the staff to be careful. In fact, these jobs are not very tiring, just very relaxing. The shopping guide has to stand in the bookstore for eight or nine hours every day, which is inevitably a bit boring, and the work of handling and pasting magnetism undoubtedly adds a lot of fun to the shopping guide. There are many books with various brands in the bookstore, and I feel that the training series of books for studying abroad in New Oriental has been selling well, such as: new concept series, PETS series, Longman grammar series and so on. In addition, all kinds of popular science books and review materials are also very popular. I feel very happy when I see a book sold. In today's society, the poster at the job fair always says "experience first", but how much social experience will our students have on campus? In order to expand their knowledge and cooperation.

Will contact, increase personal experience in social competition, exercise and improve their ability, so that after graduation, they can really go to society and deal with all aspects of life and work well. I remember the teacher once said that the school is a small society, but I always feel that there is always that innocence and sincerity on campus. Although it is a university, students still maintain their status. In a word, the social practice this summer vacation is rich and meaningful, and some experiences are exciting, but it can never be described as exciting, because it is a real gain and a feeling of "experience first". Practice is just a process of tempering. For the result, we should have such a mentality: we don't talk about heroes by success or failure, and we don't have to take success as the goal and requirement.
