China citizens and foreigners over the age of 5 can only apply for one reader's card for each ID number. With a citizen card or a second-generation ID card, you can apply for a permit and renew it at the main service desk on the second floor and all self-service lending and returning machines according to the prompts. Those aged 5- 16 who have not received their citizen cards and ID cards can go to the main service desk with their household registration books and photos for proof. The holder of the original library card should go to the main service desk or the self-service borrowing and returning machine in time to get the new reader's ID number (see Part VIII, Item 3, "Operation Process of Self-service Borrowing and Returning Machine" for details), otherwise it can't be used in the new library. Non-Zhoushan residents, who do not hold a citizen card or a military card, need to pay a 50 yuan deposit (which will be refunded when returning the card) and go to the reception desk. The time to apply for (change) the permit is from Tuesday to Sunday, and it is handled 24 hours in self-service library, an outdoor block.

Certificate of loss reporting and reissue

If you accidentally lose your reader's card, you should report it to the front desk in time to avoid unnecessary losses. Hold a citizen card or ID card to apply for a replacement card, and at the same time pay the reader card fee 5 yuan. If the original certificate is found after loss reporting, the loss reporting will be cancelled and the original function will be enabled; If a new card has been reissued, the lost reader card will be retrieved.

Withdraw a certificate

Readers are required to pay off the borrowed books and materials and return them with the reader's card and deposit receipt. If the deposit slip is lost, you must return it with the original and photocopy of your ID card. To return the card for others, you must hold the original and photocopy of the ID cards of both parties and the deposit receipt to return the card. Since March 2009 1, Zhoutu has implemented a "free and barrier-free" lending system, which is open to the public nine hours a day, six days a week, with more than 654.38+million open-shelf books and more than 800 kinds of newspapers and periodicals. The main services include: book lending, reference service, network service, grass-roots consultation, training, literature exhibition, lectures, service for key readers and service for vulnerable groups. In 20 10, the services of "starry sky reading for adult readers" and "all-in-one card" were launched one after another, which realized the book borrowing on the island. By the end of 20 10, there were more than 17000 readers in our library, including 27 five-star readers. 20 10 received more than 250,000 readers and borrowed more than 560,000 books and periodicals.
